Home Free has a series called "From the Vault" which is the behind-the-scenes filming of their videos. Watching these I can't help feeling sorry for the people making the video 'cause it must be like herding stray cats! There are also live videos (taken by audience members) - try to watch these because these guys really are as good or better live than on video. Thanks for playing this - I really enjoy your channel.
Adam Chance is playing the role of the city boy on this one, BUT he was raised WAY out in the country. Their nearest neighbor was I think 5-10 miles away. Their driveway/lane was about 3 miles in from their propert line. He did a video to show where he grew up. They did this to spoof that he's the furthest thing from being a cityslicker.
This Aussie is proud to be a 'Homefry' I ❤️ Home Free & I have a heap of my friends into them too. Come to Australia guys pleaseee 🙏 NSW Australia 🇦🇺 ♥️
When I have told people about Home Free, they want to know what genre they cover. Evidently "YES" is not a proper answer. Then they hear several songs and they completely get it. It's not the fact that they don't fit in anywhere, it's that they fit in EVERYWHERE! No matter the song, it just flat out works! Loved your reaction! ❤
The quarantine forced them to cancel/postpone I think about half of their tour but it also spurred the creation of some imaginative and creative videos. While I enjoy most if not all of those videos greatly, the hands-down winner to me is the cover of U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For by Peter Hollens feat. Home Free. That and Austin Brown's non-acappella rendition of Unchained Melody are the most beautiful tunes of theirs that go straight to my heart every time I listen to them.
A big hit for Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins .... then these guys put their spin on it --- and yeeeehaawwwwww! Originals? California Country (AustinBrown), Good Ol Country Harmony (ChrisRupp), I've Seen (TimFoust) --- so many others, Dreamer comes to mind also. It's very very hard to have a fav! Just Sayin'
another vote for california country. Other originals I also love are: Any way the wind blows, sommer in the country, Champagne Taste, Snow Globe, Remember This, love me like that, why not....
A couple more originals to consider - Catch Me If You Can and Lonely Girls' World. Great reaction! Hillbilly Bone was one of my favorites when I saw them in concert back in 2018 - such a fun song!
Great reaction! Homefree are really a fun group. So down to earth. You can clearly see yourself hanging out with these crazy guys. One of my favorite original songs by Homefree was cowritten by Tim Foust Is "Remember This". Thanks for this reaction!
Please check out Dive Bar Saints from the album of the same name. There's also Love Me Like That written by Austin but I also love California Country one of their older originals.
That's just an awesome cover for them. They are who they are, and don't run from it. Mom was an original. Have you done DIVE BAR SAINTS that's an original. How about Why Not ? another great original, also What's this world coming too?
What they do is always respect the core nature of the song. If it's a real serious piece - "How Great Thou Art," or "In the Blood" for example - they respect that core. If it's goofy - "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" - they are the silliest. And if it's a casual fun song with room to play without betraying the song, they play. Respectfully. I honestly don't know ANY other cover group that's more honorable about not warping or misrepresenting a piece just to show how clever they are. This is a fun song, and they play it for all the fun its worth.
I love this group they are so talented and hot! I was actually introduced to Home Free by an Aussie! My favorite is In The Blood. It was the 1st song I ever heard from them and playing in my Australian son-in-laws home. i loved it because it has special meaning to me. There also seems to be many things in common between the south eastern USA and Australia and I don't understand why. We have many phrases in common that aren't familiar in the rest of the US. Very strange.
Both settled by the English, and wouldve had similar sayings make their way to both places. And then also both had some revolt towards the crown and the break away from the ways of England.. thats my thoughts as to why there would be similarities.
Your childhood sounds exactly like mine. First half for me was city then second half was country but we didn’t really live on a farm but we were surrounded by them and had plenty of friends who did. I joined the military, too. Haha. Great reaction, too, btw! 👍🏼
Did you find your Dad later in life too 🤔🤣 What part of the Military were you in? Yeah, my friends all had 15 acre plus properties with livestock, rode horses and motorcycles etc
I know what you mean about taking city kids out of their comfort zone... A group of friends invited a group of city friends to a weekend camp on my brother's sheep run (24 km or 15 miles) from his farmhouse... They were warned it was a bit rough without the usual conveniences of the city... First morning, one of the girls asked my brother; "Where can I plug in my hair dryer?" Leon's reply: "Pick any gum tree!" "Will that work?"
🤣 Had a few friends from the city like that.. Where as I am happy rolling out the swag on the side of the road.. I guess the Army helped with that too.. but much rather chilling round a bonfire than going to a club haha
I’m not familiar with the Blake Shelton song (although I know him) so I listened to it. I like Home Free’s version better. They have so much fun in their videos. What’s funny is that Chance, who is playing the city guy, is from S. Alabama so he probably knows all about the country stuff. Tim was showing off his bass wasn’t he? Great reaction Purps.
Its a reaction channel... if you just want to listen to the song then please follow the link in the description to the artists channel. "Snowglobe" is one of their best originals. And the arrangement is amazing.
I love champagne taste on a beer budget with a “surprise” towards the end
Home Free can do not wrong. Love, love, love them and the song.
This Aussie is proud to be a 'Homefry'
I ❤️ Home Free & I have a heap of my friends into them too.

🤣 though it describes them perfectly
Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget - a HF tune by the bass - Tim Foust.
Second this !
Doing this one next... probably tomorrow. Watch this space...
Great feel good, foot stomping, Home Free home run!
The irony of Chance as the 'city boy' is that's he's from a small town in Alabama.
HOme Free is amazing. Seeing them In person on Oct
These guys just love to have fun. These guys are amazing.💗💗💗
Dive Bar Saints or Love Me Like That are both great originals!

I love that they continued to be creative and work out a way to keep doing their thing. Has been a good journey getting to know this group.
Easy.. Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget. Tim wrote it.
I like the Good old country Harmony song for an original. And the vid is awesome.
I’ve seen this posted a lot but I agree, DIVE BAR SAINTS! One of my fav originals by them! Well, really, who am I kidding, they are all good!

Snow Globe. I know it looks Christmasy but it's still a cool romantic song.

Mom was a cover. The original was by a Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler. It was then covered by Garth Brooks and then Home Free.
Dive Bar Saints.
❤ Home Free!!
They are fun and a bit goofy guys that have some tremendous harmonies and singing skills.

California Country is a fantastic original by Home Free. But there are many.
HOME FREE original, my favorite is CATCH ME IF YOU CAN
One man band, Catch me if you can, Champagne taste on a beer budget, Cold Hard Cash ( for Christmas), Snow globe, Understand...all original songs
They had great fun with this one...it’s quite obvious 💖‼️
Great Reaction!! Their videos are so good both pre & post Covid!

This is one of my favorites for sure. Try Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. Dive Bar Saints album has mostly original music. Nice reaction.
Timeless
Since you love harmonies I recommend either Helplessly Hoping (Crosby, Stills, Nash) or their original Good Ol' Country Harmony.
Home of the free is one of Home Free's songs
We have 2 Bubba' s in my family. One of my brothers used to be called Big Bubba and my son's nickname is Bubba.
Everything Will be Ok
Definitely one of their fun country videos. Lots of friends and girlfriends future wife in this one.

Original: Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget!
Anyway the Wind Blows
❤❤
Catch me if you can is a great song. Anything off of dive bar saints CD is mostly all original music
Catch Me If You Can
Want to laugh your butt off? Then watch the Butts Remix. Thank me later.
If you check the Homefries playlist.. my butts remix reaction was one of the first home free reactions I did on the channel
Jesus loves all
I think you talk to much sorry just letting you know
