Rincon’s goal came after a beautiful assistance done by Valderrama.
Absolutely HORRIBLE editing!! I came here to watch the pass from Valderrama, the goal by Rincon through the goalie's legs, and the incredible celebration. This video showed NONE of this. What an idiot!!
I am totally agree. In fact, I left seeing this video when I realized that it is not filmed the great action from Rincon that I relate in a previous comment.
The final action started by Carlos Valderrama is WONDERFUL, full of quality and iron nerves . He turned over himself and serves a fantastic pass to Rincón, after put up the pression from a german mildfield.
If the autor of this video neither has this essential moment, definitely this video is a grear BULLSHIT. So it will better to remove it
The keeper for Colombia was fun for the neutral but an absolute liability for his manager and team mates.... Colombia went out because of his madness no question

Well, this isn't a good summary for several reasons. One of them is that here don't appear some actions entirely..
For example, the excellent penetration in the left side by a great Freddy Rincón in the first half near 20 minutes. Rincón dribbles with a lot of skill two germans before making the magnific pass to the area that heads Estrada.
But in this images only can be seen the head, not the previous and wonderful action by Rincón.
So, this video is very incomplete, for whom it doesn't deserve to be watched. A waste of time

That's right. A clown goalkeeper was Higuita, obsessed by doing the ridiculous showman although he caused damage to his fellows in the national team.
The terrible defeat against Cameroun was exclusively his responsability. A clown who only thought in himself, never in the team.
Besides, Higuita was not KILLED as result of his stupid action in view of Milla because the colombian goalkeeper had important CONTACTS with the organized crime. Not as the poor defender Escobar.
Anyway the arrogant Maturana always supported Higuita, also after the avoidable error against Cameroun. Maturana was a great and brilliant trainer who believed himself to be God after this historic match against Federal Republic of Germany BRD(Bundes Republik Deutschland). The best match ever played by Colombia , even better than the also unforgeteable 0-5 against Argentina.
Maturana is one of this man that really must believe that they are perfect in a way that if he had a second opportunity is sure he would say that he did not change anything and he would do exactly the same cause in his stupid and bad understood pride he isn't able to conceive that he may be wrong. The Gods are absolutely perfect.
So, Maturana is one of those arrogant people who never make mistakes. He failed completely as trainer in Spain, first in Real Valladolid and after in Atlético de Madrid.
In year 1991 he brought to Valladolid to Higuita and Valderrama. The supporters from Real Valladolid booed Higuita because they are a normal supporters that do not allow the eccentricity and the nonsenses.
Higuita was surprised and even he got angry because he didn't understand. All his life he used to do everything he wanted with the applause of Maturana and others.
Maturana DESTROYED this season to Real Valladolid that was down to second division.
Maturana arrived to the wonderful and precious castilian city of Valladolid with all his tecnic staff. As if in the staff tecnic in the team did not have nothing and nobody useful. Everyone separated .
This is an attitude own of a guy full of arrogance and deification
