Awesome! Thanks. The whole video creation thing is an ongoing process. My hope is that my videos help somebody so I always appreciate comments like this.
I picked up a Canon XA-10 which is a dedicated video camera as opposed to my Sony A6000 which is a still camera that can shoot video. The A6000 is a wonderful camera overall but it was never meant to do the kind of video shooting I was doing. The camera needed to be pretty close to the work which could make it get in the way of actually painting the minis I was shooting. I would have needed a better lens to deal with that issue but could never justify the expense. Also, the way the display folded out meant I couldn't use it as a monitor while shooting which meant having another little monitor that I had to attach just to be able to make sure that the work was properly framed in the shot. Lastly, the Sony's integral mic would tend to pick up the sound of the camera zooming and other extraneous sounds so I had to always weigh setting up a separate recording option because I couldn't use an external mic on the camera. All of these problems are solved with the new camera.
Looking good Jay! Welcome back

Hi Jay, thanks for sharing your work again. I'm curious what the new camera is and how it's made your process less troublesome.
