Though the ending is definitely asking for a 2nd season. - This is the first short drama I watch where they separate the men and women dining together, which is the etiquette in that era. Most productions let the men and women eat at the same table despite that not being the actual etiquette. - This is the 4th drama of marriage swap and the 2nd adaptation of one script that I've watched. I actually like this one more than the other adaptation. The knowledge from modern era wasn't being shown off, instead FL tried to 'not alert the snake'. - Romance is not the focus at all, instead the story revolves around "women in the backyard". This focus lets the production give us more detailed insight, I love it.
Not sure why everybody was having a problem telling the two females apart but I was having a hard time following the plot once the subtitles went from English back to Chinese.... Could someone fix that please. 😂
I've just started watching but I think this is the plot as I've seen this in other dramas. Two modern women transmigated and become sisters. One sister thought that her sister got a better life than her. They were both reborn. The foolish sister wanted to switch their fate by swapping husband but what she didn't realized is that their fate is in their own hands. Successful life is due to one's hardwork. The smart sister was successful in their prev life because she worked hard. Update: I dropped it after 17mins. Plot execution is bad, it can be confusing if you don't know the plot. The other two versions of this drama that I've watched is way way muchs better than this.
I think the one you described is the miqi and wang jiamao and that one is definitely better! This one I couldn't finish. I've seen four OG versions and three of them has gotten a second version. So far i watched 3 vers. 1st was present times, so this is 3rd historical. Previous historical ones where different because they had theirs own twist but both had strong, resilient & smart fl. Ml were pretty good too. In both vers they had green tea of savior that they supposedly whom they liked in previous lifes, but ml pretty quickly fallen for fl before green tea was introduced to us watchers, so i wasnt bothred by green tea. I hope they will do good with this one too. ABOUT THIS DRAMA This version pretty good too. But it focusing on fl conquering the household & gaining power & respect to get smooth sailing for her future. Ml more like cameo. No romance. Also ending confused. It's the end? Or there supposed to be more? It kinda feels unfinished. Green tea 2:29:07 "a woman without man's love, how long she can go?" Dear, green tea, that's partly the answer to your question "why it's different for fl, while u suffered in previous life" You lean on mans love & that's it. While fl focused on getting recognition & respect from family head grandmother & servants. She learned & adapted based on her abilities & not on man's fickle love. Your man loved u for a while & where that love left up at now?
This is NOT a love story y'all 💕. FL is navigates being a newlywed minus her husband. I've seen this plot but it's mostly the evil sister plotting daily. No abuse, misunderstandings or kidnappings. The moral of the story is, if you have I'll intentions and not that smart, no matter if you're giving a second chance you still lose...on to the next!!!

FL's husband screen is so pathetic I almost forgot he is even there. Seemed like they just want to pave the strong woman path for FL and that's all for the entire drama. The wick scheme by the villains are weak in the eye of the reborn FL while the reborn FL's sister continued her foolish way and still could not handle family politics.
Some comments here are misleading. If you want to waste your 3 hrs watching this, go on😅 This drama doesn't have an ending. The whole drama is about how to win grandma, relatives, and maids.. More conversation between the FL and her maid. The over the wall peeking on sister's yard😅 The shopkeepers report every now and then about their shops😅 ML only showed 5 times😂 First on the day of her rebirth, then wedding night,then greetings to elders, then NY eve, then last was when he visited grandma and just met FL outside the house and just greeted each other😅 This is the 5th version of this plot. 2 in modern and 2 others in costume drama.. I'd say, this is the worst. Adios😆😭🤣
I saw the shop keepers more than the ML 🤦♀, and there's no proper ending. The director got lost in the businesswoman plot and forgot that the sister needs to learn he lesson.

A la 1 se muere el general y es maltratada por la suegra, la 2 hermana que se casa con el estudiante, consigue que el llegue a ministro. Viendo esto en la siguiente vida, cambia las bodas, pensando le irá mejor, fue un excelente drama y excelenteas interpretaciones. La 2 hermana es sensata e inteligente, no busca amor, que siempre lo encuentra, si no sobrevivir en un mundo difícil. Para la mujer. Otra cosa, odio esas voces femeninas infantiles y chillonas. 😢

Total agree, both adaptation has unique style.

这部戏没有男女感情戏，只有女主经商和宅斗，感觉除了给老太太解心结和结局这两处有些潦草外，其他还是可以的，比很多剧的逻辑更顺畅些
整齣戲的男主可能出現沒有五分鐘，連女主請的男夥計戲份都還比較多😂女主專心拼事業，而且還沒完結😂其實不錯看，就是甜度逼近零分😂
男夥計的妝真是一言難盡😅

喜歡這個重生換親版本的劇情，全劇不戀愛腦，完全理智掛帥的以上司下屬的家屬關係穩定謀生。
劇情設計橋段不錯，但是奶茶、關東煮橋製作的劇情太敷衍，奶茶還有用染料，奶是用的什麼奶又都沒去腥、茶葉烘烤也沒有，關東煮可是加工物。
侯府少奶奶的長相，也算的上福盈康泰，滿臉膠質，是個賢慧之人😂😂
這版比之前的版本好看，劇情改的比較流暢，邏輯說得通
太太選的演員是真漂亮，一點不適合古裝，不過還是非常非常漂亮😂
