I'm traveling by myself to Japan in June and I'd like some advice, if you could help me out!
So I'll be going to a bunch of places; Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo.. at least 6 different places going mostly down south, then back to Tokyo.
I'm between two options,
1. Carrying all my things with me in a traveling backpack, no checked luggage.
2. Carrying a smaller backpack with electronics/whatever in it, and getting a roller suitcase checked into my departing flight.
I'm leaning on using the travel backpack to carry everything including clothing that way I don't need to take drag my roller around with me,'and just getting a small suitcase or something to check on the way home to carry my goodies I get. Thanks for any advice you can give me!

Try NOT to check in anything!! It’s so so so nice!! If your backpack is going to be crazy heavy then I say get a carry on roller with a backpack that has a trolley pull through so it’s not flopping everywhere
You will be walking here and there so a heavy backpack might be miserable. It needs to be on your belly side when you are in the subway etc. If it’s crowded
But… if you are a legit light packer. Like legit. Then do your backpack 🔥🔥. It’s so wonderful not carrying stuff everywhere in Japan especially since you are going 6+ places!! ❤️

Any recommendation for a nice hotel in Osaka? Convenient to subway and centrally located near the foodie area like Dotonbori, Kuromon Market. Will be in Osaka for 4 days. Thank you

Hi, can you please tell me if a power adaptor is needed when traveling to Japan? I'm from Canada.
Hello! I think yours from Canada is like ours from the states right?
Japan is just the two vertical lines so the little usb cubes that we use for iPhones etc will work!
I do not bring adapters to Japan as long as I only have two prong plugins and don’t do the 3 prong plugins!

You missed the okanimiaki at the Osaka air port! Hiroshima special but there is an okanimiaki restaurant in the airport 😋. Had to have this one last one before I left Japan

🌺😎I am sansei Japanese from Hawaii so I don’t have the good fortune to read or speak fluent Japanese so for any first time visits to Japanese location, I really need tourist locations which have English translation. Saving the really good locations for the locals to enjoy without us tourists 🫶🏻
