There are so many videos on the 2000 murders per year, and 500,000 crimes per year, but people fail to do there research and claim that it is worse now. I was born in the 60's and I saw all the burned down buildings, the graffiti on trains, the gangs, the crimes. NYC was a war zone, people of today who never experienced that era truly don't want that to return, but we are getting there, give it time. I'm going through the comments and how much misinformation is written. I'm a close childhood friend of Johnny 🕊️, his brother and cousins. We all grew up and went to incarnation school together in Washington Heights .His killer 😤 was obsessed with him for who Johnny was. They lived on the same block across the street from each other. The sick sob used to stalk Johnny and even cyber bully him. It reached to a point where Johnny had to file a harassment report on his killer. The day of the incident Johnny was on his way to meet up with his girlfriend to see a movie. Unfortunately the sick psycho was probably waiting for Johnny in the park and already knew what he wanted to do to Johnny. Johnny was a good son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved writing music and bringing his lyrics to life. He also was a very well known Artist, Model and Writer. So please if you don't know or knew Johnny or the know the whole story of how everything started stop making assumptions and respect Johnny and his family.
