Wow, that train was half way to Denver before it stopped. Beginning of sunrise at the horizon, I seldom miss a sunrise, it is just a habit, 6 years in the Navy and years in the construction trades, you get used to starting the day early. Mike, I bet you haven't missed a sunrise in a long time. We appreciate your effort to get out the door early and catch the #5. Enjoy the rest of your day Ted

That was a different station stop with car 8 instead of car 7. And the roll out included. There was a hint of a sunrise to come. Barely. I've worked wat too many "Graveyard" shifts to think about as well as driven to the base in the dark of the morning. It is neat to watch the daylight grow. Anyway, have a great Tuesday out there. Good morning, Mike. You may have to put yout tripod on a dolly in order to get a good position for your videos. Still is great to see the Zephyr arriving. Take heart, my friend, your high in Fort Morgan is going to be higher than here on coastal SC (48°). Be careful, stay safe and wear an extra sweater to keeo warm in those early am temps.

Your comments reminded me to go purchase another bag of "Grabber" hand warmer packets. I have more problems keeping the fingers warm than the rest of the body. Hope that it starts warming up a bit more back there. We will ride in the 50s for a week or so. Not even any natural snow in the mountains for a while.
