Taemin said that he was told Advice is SM's fastest choreo to date, he hits every beat and pops so much plus the piano move he added after this. The fun thing about Advice though is that because he was leaving he had to learn the choreo fast and perform without time to perfect it. So if you ever get time with a dancer it would be amazing to do this practice where he messes up, to the rooftop croptop video, mcount (his pants were not right for this dance lol), studio choom, mcore, and inki (final), stages and you will see him experiment and perfect it in real time. Honestly just from the practice through the mv performance to the 3 shows would work. It's really rare to see an artist do that, but further proof why he's a top dancer.
agree with you, every time he did the performance during music show he keep adding flavor to the dance
my most favorite will be inkigayo stage it feels much more taemin compared to the earlier performance
the most notable will be where he walk in the middle and hitting the beat with double pop, instead of rolling his shoulder to the front like in this video, in inkigayo, he roll it differently and more exaggerated yet so fluid
@@CoderClimber Absolutely agree! I loved going from the mv with his back turned to mcount where you could see the pants struggle to him going off in Inki. Want is fun because of the opening freestyle but I love that Taemin was trusted enough by staff and dancers to play around with Advice, especially after seeing him change up his freestyle part in DCM.

Spoilers during Atlantis VLive and he confirmed it with fans during fansigns when he gave more spoilers, like there's classical and piano and it's the highest key he's done for a title track. Staff also said it's the fastest but to be fair the times I've seen dancers and Kasper mention the speed they don't specify if it's SM's or Taemin's. Fastest doesn't mean hardest or best, in case you're asking because this hit a nerve (I can't read tones well in text). Actually, when Kasper was on Moonbyul's radio show she asked who his favorite artist to work with was and he said Taemin and Advice is his 2nd favorite choreo, Criminal is his favorite. Mind you, Advice was released in 2021. It could have lost its title already. Lol
YES!! Taemin is insane. The ironic thing about his enlistment is that he thought we were going to forget him or replace him with another artist... but the truth is there is no one like him ♡ Can't wait for his return (SHINee's back in 2023!!!!!!!)

What I personally love even more about Advice choreo; is how the impression of Taemin changes on the same/similar move depending on him dancing with female vs male dancers. It hits you hard with both, but in a different way, or is it just me? 😅🫣

Zin's energy is always such a vibe! Also, the name of the dancer that y'all think is sexy is Teddy! He is so fine! He's part of a dance crew called MVP that was put together by Jay Park. MVP have done a lot of Korean festival performances that I would love to see Zin react too! Teddy used be called Force he did a crazy choreo to Pop Smoke's Dior. Plus, with how high of a caliber dancer Taemin is, to be one of his backup dancers means you have to be on point. A bunch of the female dancers are also part of famous dance crews. Taemin knows what he's doing choosing these dancers. His dances are so hard, so he needs the best to pull if off and he knows exactly who he needs in the dance scene. To be a Taemin dancer is like a badge of honor.

I think another thing I particularly love about Advice is that it always felt to me that all of Taemin’s dancers captured and respected his passion and emotions about this release before his mandatory service. They have this wild energy and absolutely every last drop of it is used to serve his vision, I feel their genuine respect for him as an artist in a heightened and desperate time more than ever in these performances. Please don’t misunderstand this to mean they didn’t care or work hard before - I’m just saying Advice is crazy in every way 💙

ah, I'm sorry to inform you but because he switched out of the military band due to his mental health they have extended his service time, until march next year I believe :(

All the other dates have been given unofficially due to the transfer, but we must remember that Taemin's case might be different because he was active for 8 months when the transfer happened and maybe that time will be considered and there will be no extension. in the time. In any case, we will wait as long as we have to wait if an official statement comes out later, changing the date.

Welcome back Zin // Flame of Love always gets to me emotionally because of the pure emotion that Taemin puts into this performance. It is nice to contrast Flame of Love with Advice to show his versatility and showcase his different skills. Taemin makes the viewer get into his journey as a dancer and the songs and I love it. i love taemin's dance practices. you can see more of his moves unencumbered with the costumes worn during his actual performance. also this practice in particular is somewhat better for me than the actual performance because i have to be honest, it was quite painful to watch his mushow performance because i can actually see him being so tired. esp. during a fancam where he actually loose his footing which is probably due to exhaustion made by giving us fans his all before enlisment. i can't wait for him to be back from the military and hope he will get back to us safe and healthy.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Love Zin. I try to watch as many reactions as possible that she does to my fav idols. Got into Taemin recently because he inspired Jimin of BTS to become an idol. They are friends now too, which i think is awesome. Love Taemin's songs and choreo. He is very unique. It's so cool to see what Jimin borrowed from him. I am glad Zin loves his style. Finally! It's so nice to listen to you two gush about the Advice dance practice. I have been sharing the dance practice with people I know (not dancers) and getting a lukewarm response of "yes, they seem very talented", so I kept trying to explain *why* Taemin, the dancers, and the choreography are all incredible but I don't have the knowledge or experience to do it justice, so I end up frustrated. For example, I kept telling my husband about the footwork at 9:15: "He's doing something with his feet that is just crazy! I don't know what he's doing or why it's so good, but it feels *really* unique!" My husband-who is not particularly interested in either Kpop or choreography-will be so relieved that I have someone to geek out about this with instead of him :) So it was so rewarding to be able to listen to the two of you and feel like I could watch enjoy this as much as I do, and also gain understanding as to the technological aspects to the dancing as well. Thank you!!!

The blond dancer's name is Simeez and the one next to her was Rian I believe! They're in a dance crew together called Lachica and they're all really amazing dancers and they do choreo for a lot of kpop groups.

I love all your Taemin content! I was wondering if you ever thought about reacting to his SHINee bandmate Key? Like Taemin, he's worked with several renowned choreographers and has a group of dancers, including choreographers, he works with steadily. He already has several iconic dance practices, lives, mvs and Studio Chooms, but I'd recommend 'Bound' or 'Gasoline', if you happen to be interested.

If you'd like to have some fun, you should watch Kasper (the choreographer of Advice) and the dancers from the MV do the demo for this. I don't know if Kasper is a perfect mimic of Taemin or vice versa, but I've watched it an absurd amount of times.

I think you need to know the language to understand the lyrics of Flame of love. When you hear the lyrics and watch the dance at the same time, the chorus makes much more sense. (I'm not a dancer, it's just my opinion 🤗)
That version of Flame of Love *personally* is not my favorite, i have to say.
