I started watching you when you were playing hunger craft with Joey. Can't believe that it's been ten years since the first episode of Dogcraft! I found it really interesting when you were talking about your vet stories as I am now a registered vet nurse here in New Zealand. I’ve been a fan of your work for over 6 years now, and I still remember my Mom every weekend giving us one video to watch off UA-cam each, and DogCraft was always my first pick of watching. When you stopped it at one of the Christmas episodes, I scanned the entire internet to find the next video. Then a few months ago, when I saw Pages Rainbow Bridge (I think that’s what it’s called), I started reading your book series.
Currently I’m on book 3, still needs to be ordered from my public library, and your books are amazing. I want to publish books and post Minecraft videos one day too.
I hope you see this, not balling for attention but I just hope you know how much you’ve inspired me all these years.

Started off watching 8 years ago with my childhood dog. Now I’m watching with my rescue dog all grown up 🥹
this gave me a huge nostalgia rush! i think whisper is a cute name for the wolf
loving the chill, low-edited style! a few new minecraft tips:
- birch hills m is now called old growth birch
- old growth spruce/pine are both mega taigas, the difference is the style of mega spruce tree. "Spruce" looks more like a christmas tree while pine has a small clump of branches at the top, but both are still spruce wood
- you need copper to make a brush! it's the little rim between the handle and the brush bit. brushing an armadillo uses a quarter of the brush's durability so you'll need a few
- you don't need to sleep the night to set your spawn, it doesn't even need to be night, just click on a bed and you're good. if you break the bed you spawn point is reset to world spawn
- most of the ores are at different levels now, I can't remember off the top of my head but probably good to look them up
- overworld monsters only spawn light level 0 now so you can ease off the torch spam a bit
those are just the ones that are more likely to be confusing/frustrating, I'm looking forward to seeing your reactions to newer features!
Honestly, Ruff would be a great name for the woods wolf you found! It would really be a full circle moment since “Ruff start(s)” your wolf collection for this series! Also, if you change your mind and look for the classic/pale wolf anyway, I think the name Classie would be perfect for it. It’s a combination of classic and Lassie. 😊

NAME IDEAS FOR OUR NEW FRIEND: Frontier ("The extreme limit of settled land beyond which lies wilderness") I feel this could be a good name because you did trudge 40-or-so-minutes through different terrain to find this little guy and tame them. We also got Bruce, mostly because in an attempt to say "spruce" I said Bruce. And lastly, Chanterelle, its a type of mushroom that has a very pretty name. I hope you take these into consideration! :]

I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since the start of Dogcraft!! I may not have been here since the very beginning but you absolutely made my childhood when i did start watching you. I have a dog named Mochi who looks extremely similar to the woods wolf with a magenta collar. She’s been with me for almost 7 years and i can’t imagine life without her. This is so fun and nostalgic. I love the less edited style with real life stories and real time game commentary. I loved watching your videos when I was younger, and its incredible how much everything has changed!! before I was watching wishing I had a dog and dreaming about being a vet, and now ive got my own dog, a collie named Blue, and am studying to get into vet school. Wow, I don't remember how old I was when I first started watching, but I believe I might've been in middle school? I'm almost 22 now, and time really flies. Dogcraft was the first youtube series I started watching, and I think it really impacted me. I love dogs, and I work at a doggie daycare now. Thank you for everything!
