That's absurd.Defense is non-existent pretty much these days.The grit is gone.The players aren't truly competitve,no disdain for being scored on.
The NBA has become the same way.Free trips through the lane for easy lay ups and dunks.No weakside help,no three pass away discipline.Nobody being physical.No banging down low at all,everybody just stands next to each other.
Defense is hard work and requires lots of effort.Maybe todays players just aren't cut out for it.Look at Kahwi Leonard taking games off to rest on a regular basis.Players never did that early in their careers,unless truly injured.
Never has the game been played so softly as it's being played now,never.
