With responsibility, Starmer will also get the UK Prime Minister’s official residence - 10 Downing Street in the City Westminster, London - where he will move with his wife and UK’s new first Lady, Victoria Starmer.

The title of First Lady is American no such thing in the UK, typical of American's to assume everything is the same as their country.
It is not the Americans but the Indian media who called Akshata Murthy, the first Lady of UK because she is an Indian. They never called wives of previous PMs FL.

Poor journalism. We don’t refer to the Prime Minister’s wife as “First Lady”, the Prime Minister isn’t Head of State.
She is NOT first lady. American title!!!! The most important lady in the UK and Commonwealth countries that retain the crowned head of state is Queen Camilla, then Princess of Wales, then the Princess Royal, then the Duchess of Edinburgh. Princess Charlotte will come after her mother in the fullness of time. I'm not watching a channel that can't get it's facts correct.

Catherine will also be queen consort , when William ascends the throne. Queen Elizabeth II‘s mother, Elizabeth, the wife of George VI, was also queen consort. All queen consorts are titled Queen.

Keir Starmer is head of government as Prime Minister, King Charles III is head of state; therefore if the UK were to have a first lady (which it does not) it would be Queen Camilla. However, don't blame ignorant Americans too much, Prime Minister Tony Blair's wife, Cheri, once made the idiotic remark that she was not First Lady, but Queen Elizabeth was! One hopes that a grovelling apology was made to the Queen as head of state!
Except she is not the first lady - that honour goes to HM Queen Camilla, Queen Consort. Starmers wife is the wife of the Prime Minister, and has no political place.

We do not have a First Lady in the UK. There is no such thing. She is Lady Starmer because Kier Starmer is Sir Keir Starmer. Otherwise she is simply the Wife of the Prime Minister. Our head of state is HM King Charles III, so if we did have a First Lady (we do not), that person would be HM Queen Camilla. Only she isn’t the First Lady either. We don’t;t have a First Lady. I may have mentioned that we don’t have a First Lady already. Because we do not. Have a First Lady that is.

She can never be a first lady. The Queen or members of the royal family come first. She is the PMs wife,nothing more. In fact the PMs wife has tended to be kept in the background. Very disappointed with his attitude towards Palestine without a doubt because of his Jewish wife. It would be a shame if that would prevent him from recognising Palestine as a sovereign state with equal rights for all living in Palestine.
They are calling for a full ceasefire now, they were slow to condemn before the election because Starmer knew that the press would be making negative stories every second. You have to understand just how paranoid Starmer had to have been trying to prevent bad stories.

Her Judaism is going to be a huge problem. She will have to come to terms with the fact that Judaism and Islam are the root cause of much of the conflict in this world.
