@@hanakokunn_ the uterus is a part of the female reproductive system. when females reach a certain age (usually depending on genes and has almost nothing to do with health, most times) the uterus lining sheds and they get their *periods* (the lining is blood built within the uterus, preparing the cells for a baby). babies also grow in the uterus, (stopping the uterus from shedding for a little while, aka stopping periods)
