Read Project 2025. This is just the beginning. They are planning on replacing the top 50,000 government employees and civil servants in the United States with these same kind of Republican, christian, conservative, men as this man right here. The Heritage Foundation has already written a 900 page book on the plan to be implemented on day one of Trump's presidency and dismantling the checks and balances of our government. There is already a database of future government employee's who back their four pillars plan and 100 christian organizations.

@@Pacifica74 I was baptized and born again in a Baptist church at 10 years old. Our pastor would call all of us children to the front pew and scream at us until he was spitting all over us and telling us we were all going to hell!
When I was old enough to leave home I would never go to a Baptist or Nazareth church again. Thankfully I married a man who's family was of a Methodist Minister Dr. John Paul Stafford III from Chicago. I remember the first time I attended a Methodist church and the minister talked about Jesus and forgiveness, and I cried. I had never heard this frame of mind. I am 61 and still a Methodist because they teach of the love of Jesus Christ and his forgiveness. My son is the 5th John Paul Stafford and a Methodist minister. He also holds a Bachelors in Biology and Geology.

I am an educator and Oklahoma resident. My undergraduate degrees are in philosophy, theology, and German language & literature. I also have an MBA. I worked in industry for 20 years. I graduated from a Catholic institution with my baccalaureate degrees and a state school for my masters degree.
I teach mathematics. I would be one of the most likely teachers in my district to be tapped to develop this Bible curriculum given my education, expertise, and life experiences.
I do not want to teach the Bible in public schools. I want to teach mathematics, where we work on logic problems, algebra, arithmetic, and statistics. I teach all this from a neutral standpoint and don't bring politics, religion, or socioeconomic issues (like capitalism vs socialism or communism) into the classroom. That's what you want for your children, correct?
If I am compelled to teach the Bible, I am teaching it from a Catholic perspective, including the deuterocanonical books (the apocrypha) as well as the logic behind the ever virgin status of Mary, papal infallibility, the supremacy of the Roman pontiff (pope) and the arguments that debunk Protestant thinking. Do you want that? Because that is how I will teach the material. Your children will be indoctrinated to be Catholic and to reject protestant heresies. If you are cool with that, then let's go! If not, keep the Bible out of public education and keep it where it belongs, in Sunday schools, CCD, Bible camps, and at home with families who can adequately teach their perspectives and faith traditions to their children. Which do you prefer?

Do you teach possibility vs probability in mathematics? If so, do you think it’s more probable that Mary got pregnant as a direct result of intercourse, just like nearly every woman since the dawn of time, or do you think it’s more reasonable that an extra-dimensional entity that is himself, his son, and a ghost, knocked her up just so he could kill himself?

I'm a Christian and I strongly disagree with this decision. We need to keep the separation between church and state. It's the basis for religious freedom.
The Bible is very often misinterpreted and its meaning twisted. Teaching it incorrectly is much worse than not teaching it at all. Let parents teach the Bible to their kids at home, if they choose to do so. It's not the government's job to interpret the Bible.

What I don’t understand, why is it so wrong to learn about God & Christ. What are you so afraid of. If anything you should want kids to know the difference between right & wrong because most parents aren’t teaching that to there kids. Then the Murderous kids running the streets because they don’t know the difference between right & wrong. The news proves that as dose all the Forensic Files shows they have on Netflix & HULU. Totally agree! This is one step further to the USA becoming a dictatorial country where religious freedom will be a thing of the past. This is foretold in the prophecies of the Bible (rightly interpreted, i.e. by letting the Bible explain itself concerning the symbolism that is used) in the book of Revelation, chapter 13 concerning the 2nd beast power that has begun as a lamb and will end speaking like a dragon, enforcing laws that will force people to worship on Sunday or loose their place in society (not allowed anymore to buy or sell) and, ultimately, be executed. The good new is that God will intervene before that happens when Christ will return in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory!

Oh wait…I know how. It was called church. You know, back when there was separation of church & government. In the olden days. And yet I still obtained my High School Diploma. Now religion is forced upon the public school system & so it begins. You can’t get the funding to have a class for each individual religion all in one public school to give a show of equal rights. There will no longer be general Public schools. There will be public schools for each individual religion. The church’s will be individually responsible for the funding of their own schools.
And all will be neatly separated & divided. Segregation made to look lawful & pretty. And everyone will have school dress code with a nice little badge signifying their religion. Religion will eventually rule the lands & determine new laws. Not government. It seems history has not taught us that much after all if it’s going to send us backwards. We know who is going after the popular vote. Wonder who the new minority will be. Homeschool is looking better & better. And if the government is so hellbent on history lessons..is there going to be anything special in there for native Americans who founded these lands long before they were founded & labeled, “America” by “Christians”?
