What I love about this channel is this most of the people here are OG asmr watchers, and it feels so safe because we were all here when it was weird to watch asmr, look where we are now! Im glad to still be here with all of you, 10 years later. X
I remember when people asked me what ASMR was, now it seems like it's gone mainstream to a certain degree, but no one can top the originals. Some of them try to be too creative while missing the purpose of asmr. Even with a whole group of asmrtists, I always come back to this channel and gentlewhispers.
Another Classroom video of some kind. The combination soft speaking to the class, whispering to the viewer, and talking from other parts of the room is so good. Extra points for chalkboard or pencil sounds.

Favourite is a touch tapping 5.5 (I think) where you spoke in very unintelligible whispers and introduced each item, the wood, glass jar, flashlight etc. can you PLEASE do a whole video of just introducing lots of items no talking / unintelligible whispers? Never ever imagined that effect could be replicated, so imagine my surprise when around 2012/13 I stumbled across your incredible videos. Having Asperger’s I struggled to understand literature reviews, the topic seemed so abstract and complicated. I got marked down because I was presenting facts in my essays, rather than arguments. I was flunking basically. Now I have a first and I’m on to my masters, because listening to you helped me calm and focus enough to read all the fine details, work through and understand. It’s not just sleep and overwhelm you’ve helped me tackle this last 10 years, you’ve helped me reach my potential. ❤️

Im a film student and i think its insane that you film your videos on such a fantastic camera, never seen anyone use a cine camera for youtube before. Take care of that camera and itll last you a lifetime

Could you do a video in the dark with candles and maybe those metal dishes you make noises with sorry I can't remember the name of them 😅 but yeah maybe an ambient video with candles in the background and bottles with water in maybe 🤷 just a shot in the dark but I would be very appreciative if you did that no worries if you don't though Dimitri but it doesn't have to be those items I listed could be other things but still want the candles if you can 😆👌 But yeah it's nice to see you back in the ASMR community and I wish you and your family the best 🤝
Some of my favorites to go back and rewatch are your AMA on Reddit you would eat nuts and other snacks and the sounds would just run through my entire body from toes to forehead. Almost like a pulse
Recommendation: I guess most viewers get scared by loud noises, e.g. the camera hitting the table. Maybe use something soft for in-between. Just thick enough so these very loud noises don't exist :)
It is true but this is the type of videos people would watch before ASMR was ASMR to experience ASMR. I plan to redo a shopping network style, this was my first UA-cam type ASMR experience from 30 years ago
