i had luck like that before, still lost :( But the run i managed to win i only found the mana bone and like...2 other damage items the whole run ( no mage necklace )
I think we need new spirits. A poison spirit with swamp as it's other inscription, and a lighting spirit with static as it's other. It would work well, and more spirits means more of a chance to find Oberon. Plus adding 2 more means that you could theoretically have a full load out of fairytale. 2 elementalists blessing, and all 7 spirits
the swamp one dosent seem good as an idea but the electric and maybe a light spirit would be noice

I fookin' love Little Skull Bazelgeuse runs. Mana bone, mage's necklace, mages mana bracelet, nether mana suppressor, frost witch's staff. 5 item RIP run. Even funnier when Magic Slime plays ball and doubles either the necklace or the mana bone.
Also my most jank Oberon run: Wind Spirit Sylphid, Elementalist's Blessing, Clone Stamp, Prince's Box. It uh........ Was funny at least.
Yeah, I've said before to people that using Princes or Clones to get Fairy Tale is doing a disservice to the build and only results in an extremely handicapped Oberon.

Oberon is absolutely a guilty pleasure of mine here. paired with magic skulls such as alchemist and warlock it's almost a match made in heaven.

Little bone, Bomberman (With the ability to increase the explosion dmg and the one that drops small bombs.) with mages necklace and infinite bone is nice.
Oh yeah, I love Oberon. The two or three times I've gotten him in my 150 hours of playtime were great.

I just love when Shade starts to speak it's madness XD, every time it shows up and starts to make some kind of prophecy and then get ignored because it's not a magic run cracks me jajaja.

Finally, and as I suspected the nerf of elemental blessing is huge.
I really think that fairy tale can be turned into a mix item, once you get all elementals and the blessing, they become a unique legendary item with a better buff even if it means losing the other spirits in the process. Or even in a better scenario, turn Oberon into a Summon quintessence, after getting fairy tale.

Truly, it's not worth the risk that is going for the master of all spirits when you can just have other magic boosting items that are essentially doing more with less.
A buff would be great.
I think that they need to make oberion more consistent not more strong bcz its kinda strong and with blessing u get a lot of damage so ye
if you could get a slime with another spirits blessing then maybe it would be worth it
I don't think Oberon needs a buff. Maybe a QOL change because he doesn't seem to act correctly since he barely does his attacks. I think it's more that the spirits need to become a bit more common. Getting all 5 is so rare I would venture to guess Beelz has only had it around 3-4 times as much as he plays. He seems to upload the ones he does get because they're so rare. Some of the individual spirits could maybe use some buffs to make them worth taking though. In my opinion the only ones worth taking are the shadow one and the ice one.
a few new spirits wouldnt be a bad idea either to increase the chance to get oberon

My favourite runs are little skull / alchemist skill spam, and genie dash spam. The meme runs are the most fun, but also seem to be the ones that I take the biggest risks with and end up dying on

Ironically enough... If you manage to get both the light and shadow spirit talismans to buff the shadow and light spirits, they're better than Oberon.

After 3 weeks of trying I finally got my first win in skul with reaper and dark avenger with an Oberon build
I remember i had a Skul only run (well i had archlich, but i didn't use him)
I used Mana bone, mage's necklace and other magic items.

Oberon is my favorite side character in your videos.
But i also think he needs to be buffed, if not in the damage department maybe in the frequency of his big moves. I feel like if you really got a run going, the room is cleared before oberon can do much, so buffing his speed may be the right thing methinks.
I think mana bone is the best followed by Mages necklace. Once I have these two items on little skul , everything MELTS

Beelz, you obviously forget that offensive wheel is the best item on little skul.
Dioter circlet was reaply good for ifrit because use the little fire that lingers still proc it for like 15 seconds of 100% magic increase

Btw, Ifrit is perfect for Diorite Circle, it's flames trigger magic damage boost, so you shouldn't just ditch it like that

ah yes once the lord of fairys rises to bring destruction untold and also one run i had dark shade and found the slime the slime copyed dark shade so i had two dark shade spirits
I actually did a run with 5 spirits(2 dark, light, stone, fire)+1 oberon + the magic amplifier based on how many spirits you have and 2 artifact item and wisdom to amplify it even more + the raven quin, then only need to walk around dodge and let my spirits and raven summon attack em, the damage is unbelievable, probably the luckiest run ever 🙃
An attack speed buff would be cool for Oberon, and also increase the other spirits damage/Atkspd while Oberon is present
This is like a basic Character who finds an overpowerd Pet and goes on a Rampage with it.

Oberon and spirits been to be buffed now for sure. Also still no actual Ghoul run I've done some myself while he does suck at bosses its fun to just swipe kill everything on the screen.

Oberon is so rare that it almost feels pointless to even try and if you don't get the frost and shadow one when going for it then you're just gimping yourself cuz the other ones just don't feel as strong where you could have had better items. By the way, do you think magic based Clown is viable?
Simple buff for spirits: give them a level 6 bonus that doubles attack speed of all spirits

Yes Oberon needs a buff especially in Boss fights! the few times he does hit, are a let's say 3 out of 4 chance to not hit when the Boss is invincible and when he does, the damage is kinda disappointing, even with strong magic boost's like Nether Mana Suppressor ore the Frost Witch's Staff. Hell even if you get the magic buff from the wolf NPC with all of that stuff together the damage is still just sad. I mean for the lord of Fairys, that's just unworthy!
Yo I just managed to get double mana bone and 7 tactics with Little Skul. Shit was busted it's my favorite thing.

i screamed internally when you got rid of the necronomicon in favor of the steal daggers is the crit worth it over the 55% magic boost? and here i thought i had it figured out lol
Demonomicon is good but too many of its conditions don't suit the end of the run or Skul. It boosts swap synergy which he isn't doing and it has Necro which is useless for Joan and Hero. The damage boost is nice but having high crit + C.Dagger is easier. For one C.Dagger has only 1% less crit on it than the carleon bow so it's almost 2 items in 1. It also has Tactics which ramps up the bonus damage significantly. Overall though by the end with that many Fairies it was a matter of just finding room for them all lol.

I prefer Oberon on my magical ghoul runs though frankly I’ll just take what I can get for most magic builds because I am hardly ever lucky enough to get the full boys.

It pains me this is the closest we can get to an AFK run in this game. I kinda wanted an AoE passive DPS kinda run to exist.

I love passive, easy damage, but oberon does feel weaker with so many better magic builds now, I barely ever even consider going for it.
