Hey Robert, 7k in sales is amazing!! Especially for part time. I am full time on posh and ebay but my total is at 18k right now for my first year (June 4th will be my one year) I;m gonna work really hard to try to get to 20k by that date but we'll see. I def think I can get to 25k by next year but this is also before taxes...however there are SO many tax write offs with this business that really do help. I wrote off my phone and wifi bill, utilities for my office, office space, mileage, etc. I love how you mentioned this is not passive because YES this is a ton of work but so worth it. I am looking into getting more into liquidation right now with quarantine and specifically electronics because they have a high sell value
Thanks so much! And 7k was my net profit on roughly 16k of total sales between eBay and local listing sales. I was very pleased with it for a part time gig with the additional tax benefits but yes it is definitely not passive.
