Im down in SF bay with the same boat. I like your ideas here for some things. In a picture you shared in another video the table was between the port and starboard seatee's and I thought that was a pretty cool idea. Where you have it in this video is cool too. Thanks for the vid, Im gonna put one up with my upgrades soon and will link so you can check it out.
Looks like you did a super job updating your rig. I just brought home the exact same boat yesterday, a 88 Cat 22 with wing keel and can't wait to get started on getting it ready to sail. Again, looking at your boat certainly gets me motivated for sure to get started.
Love it. Great use of space. This is a very well thought out boat. I sail a Com-Pac 23. I'm always interested in seeing how other guys in similar boats set them up. You are ready to cruise. 👍🏼#44
One thing I noticed is that you have the lifelines going to the top of the bow stanchions and in my boat they go down lower towards the clips on the bottom of the forward stanchions. That's because the gym comes out through that space. So I'm not sure what's going on on your boat. I have an 89 wing
Gorgeous boat! I used to think that mine was quite the gem u til I saw this video. Where did you get the leather wrap for the compression post? It's a very nice touch.
Wonderful work. I'm in the middle of doing much the same... if you wouldn't mind, what roller furling do you have installed, and is your bimini from CD? Are you happy with the anchor roller? All upgrades I'm considering. Just finished all of my woodwork, motor, lifelines, starting running rigging ideas etc. What are your favorite upgrades? Thanks for posting. I'm inspired to go out early and "work" on my boat tomorrow morning. Cheers! (Laser sailor/racer - and now a cruiser too)
Bimini is from Amazon Naviskin 6Lx46Hx67-72W $132.99 It is not TOP quality but the best value. LOVE the bow roller from Catalina Direct and the roller furling is also Catalina Directs . I replaced the split back stay with all the adjustment junk for a double back stays. You can still adjust the tension by simple pulling the two shrouds together with a small line. Safer and much simple with fewer parts to fail. Good luck with your refit. GOOD SAILING
Very tidy. Love the idea of shortening the table
I would love to see the plans for building that winter shelter. I just purchased my first boat, a 1985 non pop top. I am really happy with it!

A lot of good ideas. The boat looks very nice and comfortable. I like the idea of using the cooler as a companionway step.
Thanks for sharing... A great inspiration to build out my Presision 21 and tackle a few longer trips with it...

Wow. Great job being organized
Very nice looking boat
They look great for a 22 ft boat!
That layout is epic. My next Catalina will be a swing 25
A lot of good ideas. Nice fabrication.
love it! Thanks for sharing. I have a 1975 Catalina 22
Is yours very similar inside/space utilization wise? I’m looking into buying a 74’ one and that’s why I’m looking for interior upgrade vids

😊😊😊
Did you add the port shelf over dinette? If so, how is it fastened?
