- Del Taco was kind enough to have us check out a few of their new menu items like their crispy fish tacos and Birria items. We love fish tacos and Birria, so of course we said yes!! But, does it live up to the hype?

Congrats on getting Del Taco to reach out to you! I eat at Del Taco at least once a month and have seen their new items advertised and I'll definitely give it a try now.
My parents have a Del Taco right by them and I just usually ask my dad to try the new items to let me know if’s it good 😆 But the Bill and Lisa stamp of approval just means I can tell me dad to go try it out, I already know it’s good 👍🏽

Yaaay! Del Taco! I'm an ovo-lacto vegetarian and once in a blue moon, I do eat fish. Fast food places don't offer too many options for me. When I do venture out my local Del Taco is on my short list. Their fries are my favourite. While they aren't the same shape-wise, Del Taco's fries come closest in taste and texture to British chips. One of the things I miss food-wise, from my days in the UK.
I've got a Del Taco right down the street. I've always wondered what their birria would be like. Now I'm definitely going to try it out. I have always enjoyed their fish tacos and fries
Everything looked delicious. Our only Del Taco closed a couple of years ago, so we have none by us. But when we travel, I will be sure to look one up and try those. Have fun. Be safe.

I’m from Hawaii and discovered del taco fish tacos and chicken tacos when my daughter went to college in LA and since we have no del taco here, it’s a must go to to eat the fish tacos especially, whenever we are in the mainland and a del taco is in the vicinity. Wish someone would bring del taco to Hawaii, we have also tried many other items on their menu and all are delicious. Thanks for the birria review, we’ll have to try that next time we are in the mainland!!! ❤❤❤

Crushed that we can't get this in Hawaii. Loved to get their breakfast burritos...my favorite Mexican fast food place
We were surprised when looking at the restaurant locator that none were in Hawaii.
I LOVE Del Taco #10 combo macho burrito (meat beans cheese lettuce tomato sour cream salsa flour tortilla) fries soda 😋 but do like the other offerings (allergic to fish) the Birreea was good little salty but I'll try again. Love ya Bill n Lisa stay safe n dry.

Try Kogi taqueria food truck for birria ramen, they're parked on Overland near Palms in Culver City at the Justice (3424 Overland... I think). 😊
Cool video guys! I think Del Taco, at least for Californians is a generational thing. I LOVE Del Taco but HATE Taco Bell with a passion! 😆! Del Taco’s Chicken Soft Taco’s & Beef Burrito love. And people sleep on their fries. When they’re fresh, hot & salty they’re some of the best fries period. I just notice the “kids” like Taco Bell 🤢but most of my friends & myself (who are older) prefer Del Taco.

Ok, I'm gonna try it,
I've been hoping that Del Taco would open more spots in Florida that are you know, closer than say 300 miles away lol but until then - I'll have to enjoy this sort of reaction from you guys. They can keep the fish taco and anything else with fish in it, but everything else looked pretty good to me. And that birria ramen - I don't know if a tex-mex fast food joint is the place to get ramen but you know what, it looked pretty darn good. And I mean you can't go wrong with birria tacos or quesadilla etc. with consume to dip them in. As long as the meat isn't dried out and has a decent flavor - it's all good. Come on Del Taco, people exists south of Orlando you know!!! :O
When you return to Vegas a great out of this world Burris can be found at Vito’s Tacos.

The birria looks good! I like Bill’s idea of dipping the fries into the consommé as well as dunking the churro into the chocolate shake! 😊. Their fish tacos are pretty good, but I like the shrimp tacos more. If you’re near an Urban Fish Taco, try out theirs. It’s really good!

Unfortunately your video review arrived a little late here in the Central San Joaquin Valley. Del Taco has taken the birria tacos, etc off sale. But if they ever bring it back i surely want to try them. Great video. Take care and enjoy your travels.

Del Taco seems a little better quality as far as food and service than the traditional favorite Taco Bell. My local Taco Bell not accepting standard coupons was a big turnoff from a customer service perspective. Thanks for the video.

I love the fish tacos but here in Michigan the fish is very small. They can make them a little bigger.

Taco Bell starting to be a rip off. Ordered 3 combo with small drink. End up paying $38.29. Not even getting full from it. Del Taco at least have good portions for what you pay for it. Thanks for the review.

Birria, in my opinion, can get a bit boooooring in a hurry.
All meat and nothing else is how they do it here. It's basically just shredded stew beef.

That fish piece you got in your taco is awfully small, like a finger sized piece, really.

The consomme is DELISH, however. I love its deep, rich flavour!
