λάτρεψα τον σπαν όταν ήταν στην εθνική και χαιρόμουν ακόμα και όταν στον παναθηναικό έκανε παπάδες.είμαι ολυμπιακός και ούτε στα πιο τρέλα μου όνειρα δεν θα μπορούσα να φανταστώ τι θα ακολουθούσε.δυστυχώς η ώρα είναι κοντά αδέρφια εκτός αν αλλάξει κάτι δραματικά.

Ο Διαμαντίδης έχει ισάξια ποιότητα και καλύτερα στατιστικά στην Euroleague. Πολλοί έχουν καλύτερα στατιστικά απο τον Σπανούλη, όταν όμως τα δευτερόλεπτα τελειώνουν και κρίνεται μια χρονιά ο Σπανούλης (οπως και ο Γκαλης πχ) δεν νοιώθουν. Αν δεν ένοιωθε ο Διαμαντίδης? Δεν πιστεύω να "ένοιωθε" ούτε αυτός, τα περισσότερα clutch kai buzzer beater σιγουρα ειναι του Σπανούλη πάντως. Και υπάρχει και κάτι ακόμα, αν ο Διαμαντίδης ήταν ταλέντο και εργατικός, πιστεύω οτι ο Σπανούλης ήταν λιγότερο ταλέντο και φουl workaholic. Σε μια συνεντευξη έλεγε οτι δεν κοιμόταν το βράδυ καποιες φορές και τηλεφωνούσε και ξυπνούσε προέδρους προπονητες κλπ γιατι είχε σκεφτεί κάτι που θα βοηθουσε την ομάδα. Αυτα και πολλά άλλα εκαναν τον Σπανούλη αρχηγο/captain στον Ολυμπιακό που μόνο σαν Θεό μπορεί να τον βλέπει το Σπανούλη για όσα έχει δώσει, όπως και ο ΠΑΟ τον Διαμαντίδη .

sickFORred Ευχαριστω για το feedback. Απλα σε αυτο το βιντεο προσπάθησα να επικεντρωθώ κυρίως σε buzzer beaters και clutch σουτ. Το τριποντο στον Ολεσον ενω ηταν στο τελος του χρονου της επιθεσης δεν θεωρείτε και τοσο "clutch" αν και οντος θα μπορούσα να βαλω ενα-δυο σουτ ακομα που ξεχασα.

Ότι και να πεις γι αυτόν τον παίχτη είναι λίγο. Ειδικά για μας τους Ολυμπιακούς είναι είδωλο. Μπορεί ο 3D για κάποιους οι για τους περισσότερους να είναι καλύτερος, άλλα φίλοι μου αυτός ο παίχτης είναι μαγεία επιθετικά έχει τρομερή κίνηση και έχει αλλάξει με την απόφαση του το 2010 και το ελληνικό, άλλα και το ευρωπαϊκό μπάσκετ.

Μάλλον δεν πρόλαβες τον Γκάλη.
Φιλε, Ολυμπιακος ειμαι, αλλα ο Γκαλης ηταν απλα μπροστα απο την εποχη του. Αν τους εβαζες σημερα διπλα διπλα, ο Σπανουλης ειναι ανωτερος στα παντα (εκτος απο δυναμη, που απλα ο Γκαλης λογω μποξ ειχε εξωπραγματικη). Αλλα για 35-40 χρονια πριν, ο Γκαλης ηταν απλα εξωγηινος για τα ελληνικα στανταρ και ανετα ο καλυτερος παικτης ατομικα στην Ευρωπη, ειχε την ιδια "αλητεια" μεσα του, απλα ηταν εσωστρεφης περισσοτερο και δεν ειχε συναισθηματισμο στο παιχνιδι του. Αλλα σε οποιαδηποτε ελληνικη ομαδα και να ειχε παει, θα την εκανε αυτοματα φαβορι για τιτλο α1 ΜΟΝΟΣ του. Αν ειχε γεννηθει 10 χρονια αργοτερα και επαιζε με το επιπεδο των παιχτων που τον διαδεχτηκαν γυρω του, θα ειχε κανει εξωπραγματικα ρεκορ και επιτευγματα. Θελει περισσοτερη προσπαθεια να προσαρμοστεις να παιξεις με τον Λυπηριδη και ολους τους κουλους που επαιζε εχωντας παραλληλα ασπονδη "φιλια" και ανταγωνισμο με τον Γιαννακη. Και εναν ψυχοπαθη "σοφο" για προπονητη. Για αυτο αλλωστε στην Εθνικη εκανε κατα τεκμηριο καλυτερες εμφανισεις. Αλλο να εχεις Φασουλα, Φανη για frontcourt και αλλο Κοκκολακη/Λυπηριδη. Αν θες να δεις ποιος πραγματικα ηταν και τι θα μπορουσε να γινει αν δεν ερχοταν στην ψαροκωσταινα να μας μαθει μπασκετ, ψαξε και βρες McDonalds Αll-American, νομιζω ειτε '75 η '76 που παιζει στην ιδια ομαδα με Larry Bird

How is he overrated? The guy is a legend like no other in Euroleague
you need to put things into perspective. The way Spanoulis is presented today is like he is one of the top players ever played the game in Europe, and I am saying he is not.
For example, in your championship argument, Nick Galis, like many other great players, never won a European championship; does wining championships bring Spanoulis at the same skill level with these players? similar with the MVP; you need to see with whom he was competing, who were his teammates, the coach he had, etc. Same with scoring and assists. To my view his game was very unstable, fast but with average technical skills with the ball, average understanding of the game, good (not perfect) physical condition, unstable scoring ability, and a huge Ego that was enforced in his teammates, so that he would appear as the top player. Some people call this leadership, I dont.
Overall if you take all past top players in Europe, starting from the old school (Galis (my favorite), Petrovic, Paspalj, etc) or later generations (Stojakovic, Gasol, etc.) and you compare them with Spanoulis, to my view he is two or three classes below them. Maybe the above view is biased because of my age (44) and the fact that I have seen these players in the field. Comparing them with Spanoulis the difference is so obvious that I just cannot accept that he is even close to be considered a "legend".
Well you are wrong though.
Championships do matter, they matter a lot actually. They are the main goal that every player that wants to be considered among the best of the best strives for. And they matter EVEN more if you are the leader and main core of those titles.
You bring up Spanoulis's team mates. In 2012 Spanoulis basically won the championship with a bunch of nobodys. Litterally there wasn't even one other player in that roster that was considered a top level player in the league. But even in years when Spanoulis was playing with great rosters like he did in 2009 with Panathinaikos the guy won the MVP of that final 4. Meaning he outplayed all of the other stars in his team.
He was also competing against great teams with double and triple the budget of his team (when he played in Olympiakos). Teams that during the regular season would finish unbeaten and at the top of the league.
Also , im sorry to say that about your favorite player, but you can't talk about overated and then bring up Galis. I'm sorry cause i know that in Greece he is considered to be MJ but seriously you want to talk about overated? Galis was probably the best pure scorer of his time in Europe...but other than that, he didn't defend (he was honestly horrible on defence) , he had no dribbling skills , he didn't create for his teamates , you want to talk about huge ego? Galis probably was the most selfish player to ever play in Europe.
To me players like Spanoulis - Papaloukas - Diamantidis are much much better and more complete players than Galis ever was. Also you need to take into consideration that the defence being played right now is 10 times tougher than the defence that was played back then, the game is a lot faster, all of the athletes have gotten much better and much more skillfull.
About Spanoulis,it makes me think that you are remembering more of his later years where has has admittedly gotten older and his body just cant keep up like it used to be. But Spanoulis in his prime years? Not only was he the most explosive guard in Europe , but with his speed , scoring and passing ability he was basically unstopable. Honestly go back and see Spanoulis when he was young and healthy cause honestly we haven't seen many European players like him outside the NBA. Even his defence. Cause many are knocking his defence right now (while honesly when he wants to be he is a great defender even now) , Spanoulis was an elite defender in his younger years.
I never compared him to Gasol or Petrovic or even Peja but these are completely different players. Different skillsets. These guys were big in size, with their size its a lot easier to dominate in a basketball court while Spanoulis is just 1.90 yet he was still unstopable.
And also , again , there hasn't been a more clutch performer in European history than Spanoulis, its just the way it is. He has hit so many many many huge shots , and he has taken over so many times in the last minutes of a game. Its not even comparable.
So i do honestly think there is a huge bias on your part. There is a reason why almost everyone that follows basketball considers Spanoulis to be an all time great and a legend.
