Sometimes, despite how much I like all Gust games I've played I feel like Mana Khemia(The first one anyway, I've yet to have the pleasure of playing the second one) was their best work. Though I haven't played Ar Tonelico
For me it was Atelier Iris 2, but Mana Khemia is very good too. Atelier Iris 2 was a bit too easy, and Mana Khemia's school setting is something you have to get used to.

Its ironic that Mana Khemia 2 is called Fall of Alchemy. Cause every Atelier games that came out after were just simple cute girls doing cute moe stuff. There are no more antagonists to defeat nor evil plots to uncover. The storylines have simply devolved into something as simple as finding my lost mom/sister/friend etc. I miss the Iris & Mana Khemia games :(
i think its based on previous atelier game before iris where there not much antagonist or evil plots, probably why mana khemia series and iris series is pretty different with more advance on combat system compared to other title
literally my favortie game second to persona 4. i wish they didn't go bankcrupt and they can sell this game on steam... i'd like to officially and proudly have this :'D

Pudding Deity I agree. Mana Khemia was the best Gust game I've played. 2 was such a disappointment. You're better off not playing it.
For me it was Atelier Iris 2, but Mana Khemia is very good too. Atelier Iris 2 was a bit too easy, and Mana Khemia's school setting is something you have to get used to.
