Super realistic in my opinion. Almost looks like he’s biting his lip or pushing his tongue against his bottom row of teeth really hard. I would be doing that if I was quickly handling a 12 gauge shotgun on a ruthless killing machine. All the while there’s innocent bystanders scattering like roaches 😅. Super tense !
The attention to details by Cameron is amazing. As he runs through the fire, T-800's eyebrows were burnt and they are gone for the rest of the movie, giving him even a more scary look.
Arnold was legit terrifying in this movie. Especially as the more he gets shot up, he looks more and more like a zombie with the rotting skin and metal skeleton underneath.
@@Yezir760 Arnold as the Terminator is easily one of the best casting decisions of all time. I love what they did with the T-1000 and how fluid Robert Patrick played it, but the sheer terror I feel seeing Arnold scan the room is unparalleled.

This scene is a masterclass, note how Kyle follows the Terminator into the club while the lady from behind the pay point is pre-occupied with the injured bouncer. Subtle, effective.
0:49: Hot damn this scene still legit gives me goosebumps! The way the Terminator in target acquisition mode barely missed Sarah when she ducks out of sight. The way the music slowly fades out and the ominous beat ramps up, to the moment where the Terminator turns back and spots her, then moves in for the kill. Not only is it a great sci-fi/ horror movie it even has legitimately great action. The shootouts are worthy of a John Woo film. Just look at the wood, glass and debris flying through the air as the bullets rain. This movie is fantastic.
That's what I love about James Cameron's 80s and 90s action movies and John Woo movies. There's always a lot of debris and collateral damage in their action that I don't really see in modern movies. Action feels flat without it.
Incredible scene...on many levels. It's worth mentioning how it showcases Arnold's dedication and hard work to everything he does and Cameron's attention to detail (ok, he could have wrangled the extras with a little better continuity, but so what). As for Arnold, Watch his subtle actions that make us BELIEVE he is a cyborg encased in human tissue: The way his head tilts and his eyes sweep side to side as if controlled by a search & destroy algorithm; the way he "sidesteps" to his left behind he chain link fence so that he can keep his eyes forward; the way he precisely handles the automatic weapon (shooting in bursts, carrying and reloading it)...all top of line acting and preparation.

tbh at the part where sarah is walking and she see's kyle walking behind her and she looks scared and enters the club thinking she lost him. Dude that neck motion without body or arms moving at 2:22 is just fucking perfect just shows how perfect this movie is and how motionless his whole body is but only his head is in motion since he detected his target and that's just 1 scene man, also sometimes I wished somebody made a 3D recreation CGI or whatever of this scene and if possible of all scenes where Arnold is in T1 (And if that was possible to create then Fully exposed T800 endo vs T1000 final battle) but with Endoskeleton only without his skin I mean if it's possible of course XD why u ask? Well because I mean we always scene T-800 with the skin but I always wondered how T800 would look if he was without skin cuz in my opinion Endoskeleton is underrated XD like I love Arnie but I wish there were more scenes with fully exposed endo in movies.

Fun fact about this scene: Tech noir is not an actual nightclub in L.A so shooting this scene at night people thought this was an actual night club so security had to keep kicking people out of the building
Two things that a lot of people miss. The Terminator did squeeze a shot off at Sarah's head, but missed due to Reece putting a shotgun blast to the Terminator's forearm. (The Terminator is later seen making repairs to this injury) Second is Reece's primary concern was no one but himself to stay alive to protect Sarah, to which he achieves by avoiding fire by grabbing and using an innocent man as a human shield.
This scene shows you that the Terminator had a mission, laser focused not distracted by music, women nor liquor, consistent with his plan - no one gets in his way and persistent until the mission accomplished. From a success stand point, this is the greatest scene ever.
