I'm weird but I find it ver satisfying when I have a pinple that shoots puss out feels like I get it all out when it does that on a small pimple.

Watching other videos many of the Dr's take the swab after they have cleaned the cyst out so they get the live cells that will grow in the culture. I've noticed your nurse gets the first lot of pus ejected from the cyst which aparently has mostly dead cells. Is this true or false?
Had a cyst on my waste, once. It got infected and was painfully swollen. So...off to the Doc. When she xa me in I explained the problem and she took a look. She told me that it wasn't a cyst, I KNEW better because I had one before, and our let her do her thing. Miss Doc too a scalpel and gave it a poke. It literally exploded, with a capital E...all over her Navy blue pant suit. Shge was covered from mid chest to her waste in the grossest, smelliest stuff ever. All 3 of gagged some. As she tried to get the good off of her she said, " Well, like like you were right, it was a cyst". MAN, it stunk!
This cyst came in too hot to remove the sac. All we could do during this visit is drain the contents to give my patient some immediate relief - we'll head back in later for the rest of it!
What an utterly ridiculous comment - my assistants and I pass scalpels, sutures and other sharp instruments back and forth during every surgical procedure. That’s what happens during surgery. 🤔
Is injecting lidocaine or any other local into the area of most fluctuance the right thing to do? I was taught the acid/base conditions were so out of whack around an abscess you couldn't get good polar absorption, so you'd aim for the boundaries or beyond to get (barely adequate) pain control. But the result depends on the patients: some realize it's temporarily painful, and take it like a trouper for a few minutes. Others would scream and holler like they were being attacked by their doctor...some of these were drug-seeking or neurotic, but you could find this reaction in ordinary people too in my experience and Americans struggled the most - a 'pill for everything' kind of personality. As if every medical procedure should be 100% pain free, which is a ridiculous concept! PS. Love the repetition of the puss spurts at 1:03!
This procedure was just to give my patient, who was in a lot of pain, immediate relief. This cyst was too "hot" to be completely removed at this time. We'll head back in in a few weeks to get the rest out. ;)

False! It’s actually me swabbing the tissue. The first bit has the highest yield in terms of capturing bacteria.
