You were indeed right, these lifts were not here before.They were only added during the massive upgrading works in the early 2010s, in which the older lifts were completely removed. The older lifts were 1981 Hitachi lifts modernised or replaced in the 1990s by Hitachi
Shariwan Cars,Trains the main one in the terminal was Long gone. It originally was a 1981 Hitachi that was modernised or replaced in the 1990s by Hitachi once again, then removed in the early 2010s when T1 was undergoing massive upgrading works. Thank god mailerdaiblo filmed that lift.

There's a high degree of standardization - the door, glass and fixtures are highly based on the existing ones installed at T2 and T3.
