If the shark was actually upset or whatever, it would simply have swam away from them. Seems like the sharks and dolphins are inquisitive, just like us. "What IS that?" they must think. That shark seemed so chill too. No gaping, no signs of aggression.

Jaws of a Shark Dolphins in the shark stomach? Dolphins are exquisitely clever at attacking sharks (ask this bloke he’s amazing), I guess that’s why they don’t like them generally.

a great white shark One dead dolphin, your point sir? they are still a prized food source and it is still nature. either species can come out on top, though generally because of the way dolphins attack sharks, being the only species that does this, they steer clear of pods especially (it ends in death for the shark), and because of their sonar, their speed (faster and more agile than sharks), and travelling in pods, Sharks tend to avoid them.
Equally, if you actually take into account variables of the attack, as found in nature in every species, an adolescent bull shark versus a baby dolphin is an example, actually a regular dolphin will do in that scenario, or a shark attacking underneath a singular dolphin, sharks do tend to go nuts on them. maybe they just taste yummy and its rarity makes it the gourmet shit. The fact dolphins have got one up on these apex predators at all is pretty fucking incredible, and if you’re talking all species of dolphin, check out what an orca does to sharks!

Sharks do NOT avoid dolphins (besides orcas and even then not all the time). Thousands of records to indicate otherwise, even in cases where sharks aren’t hunting dolphins.

i live in Perth,Western Australia & our coastline has the most documented fatalities from great whites to date than anywhere else many of them occurred close to the shore where swimmers & surfers are...i agree 100% that the xtra divers at the end influenced a change in behaviour, swimmers splash around which call 4 a closer examination, Ramsay at the start with only her team who were below the surface swimming in a steady pattern & motion even up close & touching it still caused no reason to investigate them

Wow,Perth has a great documenting team. I surf in New England and haven't encountered any sharks. I also fish in New England and thats a whole nother set of rules. I'm okay with being bitten in half by a white shark surfing up north. I'm not okay with being bitten by a white shark while I'm fishing in a boat. It's an odd way to think but that's how it makes sense to me.if it's your time it's your time. #xgames

I agree, although I think the dolphins could outmaneuver the shark. And before all the fanatics declare the I said "sharks aren't dangerous", I DID NOT say that. But there is a big difference between a dangerous animal and an animal that has evil intent and kills things just because it can (that's more of a human trait than a shark trait). Every time i dive with sharks, I survive because they allow me to survive, not because of any amazing skills I have.

there are some of cases in which attack victims have been eaten. John ford, Shirley Ann Durdin, Robert Pamperin, Sam Kellett and YES sharks don't usually eat people when but sometimes a shark will not find any sufficient food source and will be desperate. but Yes vast majority of attacks are accidents or territorial displays.

This was a wild dolphin who used to let humans swim with him until they started to harass him, eventually he attacked and even killed one of the people. Orcas are the largest in the dolphin family and some of them do kill and eat sharks, captive orcas have and do attack and sometimes even kill humans, any large wild or captive dolphin can kill a human if it wanted to, it can pull a human under the water to drown it, or ram it with its rostrum and cause internal damage. Also dolphins can gang up and kill a shark by ramming into their gills

When they look that big it's hard to picture the ambush hunting I must admit, but who knows. Some scientists believe they survive on the energy stored in their livers until they give birth, then return to hunting. Perhaps at this stage of pregnancy they rely on scavenging (whale carcasses, etc) and their livers. ua-cam.com/video/2CmQKDZAh6M/v-deo.html
