- Join me on Anna Maria Island, a beautiful beach town on the west coast of Florida. It actually is an island connected to mainland Florida by bridges and is very easy to get to. Anna Maria Island is under two hours from Walt Disney World and has some of Florida’s best beaches! The sunsets are so lovely.

What an awesome video! We drove straight through from Ohio to FL and did a stay on AMI in June. We rented a house and hung out on the beach. It was nothing short of perfect. As much as I love Disney, I am dreaming of the day we go back to the island. Also, I love this style of vlog!
Been going to AMI for 30 years. Has changed a lot through the years but still my favorite vacation spot.

This was our first time eating out and sitting at a restaurant with a server vs. getting take out and finding somewhere private to sit in public.

Oh my gosh, I love Scarlet and her cute little tongue. I’m so glad you got to enjoy eating out. I still haven’t done that...someday.
Here in the northeast we never see baby pigeons either.

What a beautiful beach and vacation home. Could you do a video like "what I eat in a day" I'm experimenting with the vegan lifestyle but enjoy watching others who have embraced it fully. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, I will try to include one in my vlogmas videos! I've been eating mostly plant based for over two years. I had no idea it would stick, I thought I would do it for 30 days or a few months to decrease inflammation. There is so much excellent veggie food out there I don't want to go back to my old diet. I try to eat intuitively and don't give myself a hard time if I want something that contains a small amount of dairy or something. It's stress free that way. :)
