Hey fellow comment section navigator, don't forget to subscibe and check out the other parts of this amazing trip! Lake Atitlan, Antigua, Copan Ruinas, and much much more!
Awesome video, one of the rare vlogs showing getting around with local transportation. This is helpful and interesting :) I loved my time in Guatemala! I've eaten at Betty's stall, her food is so good and she is friendly.
Haha I was very impressed by the local transport as well! It was efficient and clean. Betty is so friendly and food is delicious!!! Thank you for watching! 😊
The city center is meant to be kept as “old school” as possible, there’s even a law that prohibits the construction of non-colonial style buildings (except for the ones that had already been constructed prior to the law). I think the intention was to recreate Antigua but it sorta backfired and now it’s full of rundown shady-looking lairs. For the latest architecture buildings you have to go to the more affluent areas of zona 10, 14 and 15. Cayalá is a glorified new colonial-style neighborhood that literally no one can afford to live in 😂 but it’s a great alternative to Antigua, they have chain restaurants and cafés so at least having refacción is somewhat affordable.

Man I would like to know your country too, so where are you from?
I am from Canada! And don't worry, a travel vlog series of Canada will begin right after this one ends!
Also I have one video of a roadtrip in Canada up already, about highline road, check it out if you have time!
@@beyounged I will man
Hello! thanks for you video!, I have a question for you, how time was from Honduras to Guatemana?, I wanna go to Copan ruins too, regards from Chile
San Pedro Sula to Copan Ruinas is 5 hours. Copan Ruinas to Guatemala City is about 8 in total
@@beyounged Thanks you!, do you recomend San Pedro Sula city?
If you speak Spanish, you should have a good time there. no information for English speaking tourists, but locals seem to enjoy the city.
Surprisingly ?? What else did you expect my friend , show some respect , choose your words carefully .
