The reason they likely made legs the rarest is due to strength bonus accessibility. Legs have always been the hardest piece of equipment to get strength bonus for as for the longest time Bandos Tassets was the only option. Before they could be broken down for Torva there were points it was nearly 2x the cost of Bandos Chestplate. Moons of Peril ended up bringing in Ahrim Legs with lower weight and free strength bonus as well as Bandos Tassets with magic tankiness. They were going to be the most sought after pieces of equipment, so they made them rarer. This is also why the weapon is so common, both having no durability for free value like the other 3 pieces do and pures causing there to be a higher need for the higher quantity of the obtained item. Though, it is possible to still get them early despite them having the lowest chance, as got Moon Tassets as 2nd drop. This also isn't the first time they have done a priority order for drops. They did an even more extreme version of it for Zealot Robes where 100% of the time the drop order is boots, then helm, then legs, then body. This was mostly done as the legs and body are substantially better than the other 2 slots.
I had a great time exploring the new area with my best friend and figuring out the quests and stuff without a guide~ Good times. I'm excited to spend more time with it.
im a big fan of the new update. currently ive gone and gotten the hunters outfit from the guild and done 35 runs at the moons for 0 uniques x) not really planning any colosseum runs but i really want them to release the drop info on the uniques like the prayer gear as im a clue doer.
I can tell you that I've done 40 runs of doing just wave 1-5 to make some money today and I saw no uniques. My hunch is that you need to hit at least wave 7 for uniques
casual mid game player who came back sold my bcp for blood chest and legs and still had enough spare to upgrade a few ranged and magic items, prices are cooked

Yeah it's wild. I didn't realize how good the new items are but they're super strong midgame even without the set bonuses
