Here's a simple set of instructions for a classroom activity with questions where students respond with "Yes, she is or "No, she isn't " and they either stand up or move to different sides of the class based on their answers:
Instructions:
1. Have all the students stand in the center of the classroom.
2. Explain to the students that you will watch and listen a series of questions, and they will respond with either "Yes, she is or "No, she isn't " based on whether the question applies to them.
3. For each question, you can provide a brief pause to allow students to respond and move as necessary.
4. If a student's response is "Yes, she is ' instruct them to stand up (or move to the right side of the classroom).
5. If a student's response is "No, she isn't” instruct them to remain seated (or move to the left side of the classroom).
6. After each question, you can encourage the students to look around and see who responded the same way as they did.
7. Repeat this process for all questions
