another awesome display Glen, the ring was beautifully done ! . and yes will be a very useful piece. This is what i like most about Blacksmithing, that you can turn odd pieces into something useful. Thanks for the tutorial
Hi robert, It was really early in the morning when I voiced this video and I was trying to keep my volume down. Thanks for watching and for your concern.
I love watching your videos. I forge myself as an amateur, and you explain the things you do in a very clear way. But most of all, your videos are very relaxing :-). After a stressfull day at work, they bring order and peace in my mind :-). Thank you very very much!
😂 I hear you. Perception of the camera perhaps. But ifin you think on it, at least in my area, we travel on our highway and farm roads at 75mph posted limits w a mear double yellow line between us and in actuality quite often less than 3feet between on coming and ourselves. Intercept rate of 150 plus MPH and less than a few feet between us. And seldom a thought given as if 2 painted lines are a forcefield 🚧 Blessings now Crawford out 🙏🔥⚒️🧙🏼♂️
I love your content and forgings Glen but hooks are one thing i could never feel a sense of accomplishment forging. I think its because so many people start out with hooks due to how simple most, but not all, types of hooks are to forge.
Hi John, You make a decent point. But when I'm out of ideas, hooks of some sort are the easy go to project. And it's good to go back to basics every now and again. Thanks.

Hi Greg, Agreed - the ability to reshape steel into whatever is almost magical. This hook is practical and I like it. Thanks.
On the other hand, i could never get tired of forging tongs and hammers.
I agree totally. The first real thing I ever made was a tong and I was hooked. Just so many variations...
Mate, you have a real talent for making even simple things look classy.
Nothing really fancy but just practical. Thanks James.
That’s a really cool design, Glen! Nice work as always… thanks for showing us!
It really is my pleasure. Thanks for supporting my channel for so long.
Very nice. Sounds like your fighting a cold. Stay hydrated Glen.

Turned out nicely!
Even with the happy little unexpected.
Blessings Mr Glenn

Great looking trammel hook! Very creative use of material.
Nothing fancy - just practical. Thanks J
Great video Glen. I like that the little curl opened up, I think it looks better.
Hi Bobby, I wish the camera was positioned so I could see when it opened. But yeah, I left it because it looks good. Thanks.

Now that's an interesting take on a Trammel Hook. I like it !! Well done Glen. Happy Easter!!
Hi Jeff, I just thought this would be easier than doing a more traditional style. Nothing fancy, just practical. Thanks.
Nice hook. Leaving the rust on gives it that antique look I suppose.
Nice job Glen!
Thanks Paul.
Had me hooked.......

Hey Will, Thanks.
Neat project. By the way I enjoy your travel videos but I tend to cringe on how close you come to other vehicles. 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸

Crawford out 🙏🔥⚒️🧙🏼♂️
Hi Michael, Crawford is correct that the camera skews perception some. But yeah, we are way too close all the same on these roads. Thanks.
Hey Crawford, Good comment. Got a laugh out of your forcefield observation!

Would it be easier to use with a small taper on the cross pin?
Hi Phil, Yes, it probably would be - never came to my mind. Thanks.
very nice!
Are you alright? You sound different in this video.
I appreciate your concern. It was very early and I was trying to keep my voice down. But I might have also had a touch of something though I'm fine.
