请问，潮汕人的祖先是来自中原现在的哪些省？我是印尼的潮州后裔，听说我已故的父亲，祖宗在清朝漂洋过海从今天的广东省潮州潮安县鳌头乡。我是第五代的印尼华人。听说潮汕祖先是从中原省份南迁到南方，先停留一段时间在今天的福建莆田，然后才定居在潮州。

When the person who read out the opening comment, he finished by saying gêng or did he say gê'hng 家园 so fast that I heard gêng instead?

It's quite clear to me that he is saying gê'hng 家园 as per the lyrics.

湖 is phonetically correct in this case, but I think the correct word should be 箶, a woven bamboo tray（竹筛）.

Regarding the line "时年八节有好事 俺丰盛拜三牲" and when he sung 丰盛 he sung it as hêhiab and obviously 丰盛 are not the correct characters. Do you know what is hêhiab?

That is a local slang for sumptuous but doesn't have a formal written words. Just like "旁派" for lavish, there is no standard Chinese words that you can find in a dictionary.
