I miss Germany and the German people: in Hanau for 2 1/2 years and Bad Kissingen for 6 months as a Military Policeman, (89 - 92). The German Volk were so gentile and polite. Of all the nations I served in, Deutschland was my favorite.

Loved the gnome knocking lumps out of the the cymbals!... and wasn't it nice of the band to escort the girls with their wee shopping baskets down to their local grocers? One can't be too careful nowadays you know, there's all sort of strange people about and I think all girls should be accompanied by a brass band when they're nipping down to the corner shop for a loaf of bread and half a dozen eggs... excellent!
