I love Christmas especially Christmas Eve I love the true meaning of Christmas and it’s not all about loads off gifts but having family and a good old black and white movie in front of an open fire 😊
Sean your videos have helped me feel so relaxed and have helped me get through a phase of shock and sadness after quitting my job because of bullying. Watching your gentle videos has helped me in my darkest hours of insomnia through worrying about finances and the future. Thankyou for helping ❤
I came a cross your channel years ago after seeing you on Rick Van Man and it was initially for gardening. I recently came back to the channel as it somehow got forgotten. But a lot has changed for me too. I now live in Portugal so enjoy seeing were I used to live... I know the streets you walk well. I also lived in Wales for a while and LOVED the mountains so looking forward to when you move back there. So I like the changes over the years as life take different twists and turns on both sides for the viewer and the video maker. Looking forward to whatever comes next :)
One thing is for sure Sean & that is that nature heals, in so many wonderful ways. Next time you go up the mountains in Wales remember that the forests are healing havens. Forests have a healthy influence on us. Not only do trees filter our air, the sight of a tree lowers our stress level. The air in a coniferous forest is particularly germ-free and even anti-inflammatory due to the many essential oils they emit - comparable to a natural antibiotic. Best of all it is free, I can't walk far now sadly but I very often take my cameras & use my little Mini as a portable bird hide & I go & drive to both the woods & the coast, both places I feel are healing❤ I'm absolutely loving your Wales videos Sean. You voice has such a wonderful calming affect. I know I am a relatively new subscriber but your channel has fast become one of my favourites. Thank you sincerely for making these lovely videos. I can't wait for the next walk. Annie 🏴 BTW my daughter is going to her first Wales Six Nations game tonight. Wales U20's ( the next generation) V Scotland at Eirias Park in Colwyn Bay 🏉
Merry christmas sean and wishing you all the very best for the coming New year and your life back home in Wales. Thank you for the content you share. X
Merry Christmas Sean. I had a good chuckle with the viewer that couldn't tell your old vlogs from years ago with your current ones. All of us long time viewers have matured right along with you. Every once in a while I'll walk into the dressing room and catch myself in the mirror and think wow I've aged haha. Then I laugh at myself. The bird story was very interesting. Hope you got a nice cup of tea at your friends and warmed up the knee for your walk home. Happy weekend!
3 years ago we had a flock of parrots fly over…they rested in trees on the riverbank in Bedford, where i live. After an hour or so they all took off and flew away…but must have left a couple behind….now we have about 30 out the front of our house..(on the riverbank)…they are noisey first thing in morning then in evening when they go to roost…..never see them during the day or on the ground.
In rural Wales we are lucky if we get 2 buses a day and one of those doesnt always come back. Before we had supermarkets that delivered groceries, it was very hard for people who didnt drive.
Glad to hear you might be in the Christmas mood this year Sean. Thanks for uploading the old days, I’m one of those hankering after them. By the way. I absolutely loved the videos you used to broadcast from the shed on Christmas Day. I know the recording quality was awful usually because of the bad signal but you were so philosophical in them and nostalgic, I’d love to see those again.
I heard it was Jimi Hendrix, not Bill Wyman, who had the ring necked parakeets for pets and decided to let them free. Thanks for the walking chatting video Sean.
Try to drink more water it helps with your knees and joints. We’ve got green parrots in Gouda a whole bunch of them. I love your walks Sean and I hope to see more walks when you moved to Wales 😊
I'm getting ready to start some Christmas baking, Sean! I don't do a lot of presents, but I enjoy some special meals and desserts (I try new ones each year) and try to watch a few Christmas movies. I listen to Christmas songs on CD while I bake so I get plenty of music and cheer!! I'm glad you're feeling Christmas. I always think of Dickens "Christmas Carol" when old Scrooge kept Christmas in his heart all year after his ghostly night-time visits!!
We have parakeets in Birmingham so they made it here, not sure when though. I'm originally from the north (Bolton) so when we go anyware outside of our home town the saying was "2 rings when you get there" 😂 there by saving the 10p in the call box. I am doing a daily walk, trying to do at least 3 miles. Its too cold for cycling at the moment.
When is the best time of year to buy a greenhouse does there be sales on greenhouses is there any chances of getting a half price green house that is not second hand. Thanks.
That is the River Pool (first 10 minutes) and I then walked through to Cator Park and the Chaffinch Brook. Refresh the page and I've added chapter markers to this video.
Merry Christmas to you Sean, enjoy that nice cuppa after your long walk. Do you have any family, immediate or extended still in Wales that you might connect with when you move back?
Could you go boating with Jeff or go to Kew garden. Or to alottments In surrey or in Shrewsbury before you leave London or England please seán. Your voice is very calming to listen too. Have a safe December and Christmas. How do you avoid the Christmas sales or January sales to maybe help save a little money any tips would be help thanks again seán enjoy Wales.
Great vid as usual Sean, looking forward to your videos in Wales ... take care... be happy 🙂 Yeah ring neck parakeets...get one and you will want to wring its neck ! If you get one...and it escapes, you will praise the Lord !
Looking forward to the vids In Wales. Love Christmas but I am not decorating much. No one comes so no need or want. We go to our son’s house. 🏡. They do all the work. lol.
Walks are a relief and release. It is such a gift to be able to just work off any tension, anxiety or just to have a good think.
Great channel 👏 enjoy your chats ❤

You are the only thinker in your universe.
I'm personally liking these daily Sean thoughts.

I'm enjoying the content at the moment. Trying to comment regularly to ensure the engagement stays high,. Every little helps and all that.
Thank you, especially on the newest videos.
I cycle 10-15 miles daily for health and when the pandemic came I caught it but beat it in 5 days easily without even going to the doctor.
Merry christmas sean and wishing you all the very best for the coming New year and your life back home in Wales. Thank you for the content you share. X

It's like that here on a Sunday and I've found that during the week they are usually earlier than scheduled.

Katharine Hepburn starred in the African Queen with Humphrey Bogart
I'm so excited to see Wales and the mountains. So jealous Sean. Hope you have time to do a small video at least.😊 xxx

Why did UA-cam lower your income? Trying to find the video where you explained this but can’t 😮
Do a UA-cam search for 'invalid traffic bug'.
Thank you! Got it!

End of Summer there are usually sales and I would imagine in January as well.
Which river is that Sean - the Chaffinch Brook?

No I hate Christmas with a vengeance. Just call me Miss Scrouge.

I have no spare money to begin with so it's easy to ignore the sales because I couldn't even afford them.
