Literally just ended a 10 year engagement yesterday and then got recommended this song today based off liking similar music. And it explains so perfectly how I feel. The last year or two of our relationship I was tolerating breadcrumbs because neither of us wanted to admit it was over. Then I found his whole secret double life and now every memory of our relationship feels fake, plastic. And I know I need to heal from this, but I don't know how. Anyway I'm glad this got recommended to me and it will be on repeat.

And just between us, there’s no magic shortcut to healing from these things, (believe me I’ve tried everything) it’s just gonna hurt for a while but eventually, you’ll wake up one day and it won’t feel so bad, and life with go on. The album I had on repeat that got me through my toughest break up was actually Nothing Left To Love by Counterparts, might be worth checking out!
