For dramas, it is a choice between My Mister or Hotel del Luna. Her portrayal of Ji-an in My Mister made directors and scriptwriters take notice, including noted Japanese film director Hirokazu Koreeda, who eventually selected her for his movie Broker which competed in Cannes. Hotel del Luna is also a good watch as it offers something different. For both roles, she was nominated for Best Actress in the Korean version of the Oscars.

The "first album in 4 years" was about it being her first full length "studio album" in 4 years. She did release singles and ep's / mini albums in the mean time.
The Winning also is not a full length studio album, but a mini album. So that should tell you enough about the quality of what she releasee in between 😜

This "IU's Palette Ep.07" and Dingo's "IU's Killing Voice", we can regard them together as the introduction (or summary) of Ji-Eun's music career in her 20s, just like the meaning of her 5th studio album "LILAC".
Ji-Eun is so sincere about issues of music creation and performance, so she always write confession-like quotes specifically for her songs, which we can also see in this episode of Palette.

Lilac isn't expensive as although it was released a few years back now, there were so many pressed at the time and additional presses because of its popularity. So it's still actively sold in Korea music stores and it typically can get imported at around £30. So not awful for the quality of her albums :)
