How did u fail a levels twice and still get on the course? Asking because I had a terrible yr 12, got d grades and want to study finance at King's College. I am tempted to retake yr 12 but I'm afraid it will lower my chances.
@@kingp7768 They don't care about retaking years, as long as you get the grades. I left education for a few years as I didn't feel I was ready, then came back and did Access to Higher Education at college.
^^ my CV literally says Dartford Grammar School 2010-2015 and Dartford Grammar School for Girls 2016-2018 NO ONE so far has questioned that one year gap (which was as a result of failing IB mocks and switching over to A-Levels)
Like you did one for medicine you should find someone for cyber security and do one of those videos. But either way your videos are informative and entertaining. Keep them coming.
Thanks for the idea! I'm trying to cover all sorts of degrees and I think nursing is next but I'll deffo consider cyber security if I find someone that studies it :)
Hi mahel, I know someone who got a 2.2 (55percent) and got an offer from UCL for MA education gender and international development and MA education health promotion and international development. Another friend got 64 percent and got an offer from UCL to do MPA sustainable infrastructures and public policy. Maybe these programs include other subject areas, but less competitive. Hope this helps. Btw, do you know if first year scores are important when applying to masters (without third year results as still at uni)?
I’ve applied for a few of the same course as you have. Bristol took around 5 weeks but got back to me with an offer 😁 still waiting on kings tho. Good luck with the rest of your offers!
I just checked the Bristol portal and it says I got an offer on the 13th which is around 3 weeks for an offer 🥳 I'm thinking wtf because I didn't get an email so I literally wouldn't have known to check without your comment
I'm not sure to be honest, not looking to accept anything until I get my final degree grade and get to apply to other unis that I haven't yet (UCL, Warwick, Manchester etc) and then make a decision from there
@@MahelKhan ahh fairs mate well congrats on your offers far anyway! I can’t decide between Bristol or Birmingham at the moment. I can’t work out which one will be better.
Birmingham imo is a much better city and a bigger student city too (multiple unis in Birmingham); however, Bristol is more reputable and quite higher in the QS world rankings. All about finding a balance between everything and working out which one would be best for you
I'll be making a masters application series in the next month (currently getting through coursework deadlines) where I'll cover the CV and personal statement so keep an eye out for that by making sure you're subscribed with all post notifications enabled :)
If you don’t mind me asking, what are ur predicted grades and what do u need to get into KCL? I am at UoN atm and i’m thinking about doing a masters at a uni in London, thanks :)
So I would say that my predicted grade is a low 2:1 although in a module in 2nd year, I got 0 (long story with student services) so my transcript can be seen as not being worthy of a 2:1 prediction by some. Sadly KCL thought I can't get the 2:1 that they require but contrary to this, so far I've got offers from Sheffield, York and Bristol who I assume believe that I can achieve a 2:1 and hence the offers Great to see a fellow UoN student watching the videos :)

Sorry to hear that Mahel. There's ease in every hardship.
Bad luck mate. I failed my A-Levels twice, screwed up a couple of essays, but got into KCL and onto the Masters programme. Perseverance is key.

Been watching your vids since 2019. Inshallah you get what you want and have plenty of success
Thank you brother 🙏 happy Ramadan
You should check out the admission stats to figure out which programmes are less popular and easier to get in. Then make your decision accordingly
Don't worry I already use a website called AdmissionReport :)

Friend got into Masters degree to Kings, UCL and Warwick despite having a 2.2 in mathematics from Durham
I went to register for King's College London and they asked me to put my degree. What title is that?
You have applied only in the UK universities for the Master's Degree or did you also apply in other countries as well? Love from BD
Yes only in the UK as I reside here and don't see much value in studying outside of the UK. Love to amar manush though ☮
Hey I was wondering what should I do about the CV if I don’t have experience... and I want to apply to masters ? Thank you

Can I get your help with my application process?
Hello there anyone im just a kid planning to go apply to KCL what are the requirements do i need to get into KCL
It depends on the subject you want to do but generally you need high grades like all A’s and some courses require A*’s

You need to achieve a 2:1 in second year so that your in a decent position for applying in the first semester of third year.
It's the first one don't worry lol.
