To all the ignorant people who never miss a chance to take a jab at Bihar, especially when it comes to music, please consider this: Bihar's rich musical heritage, particularly in the realm of nirgun music, showcases deep emotional and social themes. Songs like "Ek Din Nadi Ke Tire" and "Daag Kahan Se Lagal" beautifully reflect the struggles, joys, and connections within families and communities. Bihari music emphasizes strong lyrics that resonate with the human experience, often celebrating love, loss, and the bonds that tie us together. Since you got to see the celebration of janmashtami, those guys in that video standing on each other's shoulders to get to that height of the ‘matki’, means a clay pot hung up on a rope on a very tall height and the guys have to break it. The point basically has a mixture of various delicious food stuffs, especially belonging to the god Krishna’s time. The cultural reference to this kinda celebration is that it was lord krishna and his little friends who used to do this trick in their childhood to steal curd and buttermilk from the clay pots hung up on rope at a certain height in the houses of all gopis in ‘Gokul’, a place where lord krishna spent his entire childhood
Chhath Puja is near and seeing my favourite people on the internet get to know my favourite time of the year, my favourite festival is great! Chhath Puja gives a lot of importance to folk devotional songs, they are beautiful! Also, bollywood, sadly, doesn't portray any good culture of bihar except for crime and un education, so you will never find a hindi movie which picturises chhath. But, music does,so even big names like sonu nigam have sung chhath folk songs!
thnx to your leaders like lalu yadav and his family, his gundas/bahubali like pappu yadav who overshadow any positive aspect of yr state. and i agree that bihar produces max number of IAS officers, but what do they contribute. all they do is try to maintain status quo, crack deals with builders/contractors and get themselves 4-5 flats and some land. i hv more respect for a bihari labourer , street vendor or rikshaw driver than for an IAS officer. u guys keep blaming bollywood, but never question your leaders. bihar/UP maximum receive max budget from central govt. so dnt complain bt money.
@AA13494 Overshadow 'any? Biharis are never overshadowed. The youth of this country lack something most basic called dignity of labour otherwise they would have acknowledged that the poor biharis form the backbone of all kinds of labour in India, they are the most hardworking people thriving away from their families. Everyone speaks about NAVARATRI, a nine days festival. Well, in Karnataka State, it extends to TENTH day to celebrate VIJAYADASHAMI, the festival that culminates NAVRATRI celebrating victory or Vijaya on tenth day or Dashami (you need one whole episode to check out the JAMBOO SAVARI that happens in MYSORE)
In bihar too

There are so many festivals left guys. Please check them out too 😊. You cannot miss - Rath Yatra (of Lord Jagannath- Lord of Universe, who himself comes out of the temple to meet his devotees, its a grand celebration, with Ghanta Bajani i.e. instruments played, classical dance and enactment too), Raja Parba/ Mithuna Sankranti (festival that celebrates womanhood, fertility, menstruation and metaphorically with the essence that fertility of mother Earth as its important for life to exist and need to be taken care of), Maha Shivaratri, Rakhsa Bandhan/ Rakhi (festival of bonding between brother and sister with brother promising that he will always be there for her, protect her always), Panaa Sankranti and Makar Sankranti (harvest festival) etc.
All Hindu festivals have art (some kind of art work on the floor/ ground either with colours called Rangoli or rice which in Odisha called Jhoti chita and other names too in different states), dance, music, instruments playing is a major/ important part.

14:30 bro you missed vishal mishra's chhath Puja song thats awesomeeeeeee ❤❤❤
Durga Puja & Navaratri are two names for the same festival! It is celebrated with dolls, fancy dress & a celebration of the performing arts like classical music & dance, in the South.
Rongali bihu is one indian festival that's so much about music and dance from Assam.
Finally a subscriber..after an year (period)...God Bless

Dasara was missing and during Diwali king bali enters to dakshina Kannada , Udupi
And politicians are ugly in every state, rapists, gangsters, communals and what not.
Our culture, like any other culture of india, deserves love, respect, recognition. Nothing is big as to "overshadow" culture in today's world.
@@Soumya_S-m8h they r by their dumb leaders. Bad politicians are looked down upon and shamed in other states, in bihar they are celebrated. Stop defending them. And stop complaining about bollywood showing biharis in bad light- it is called overshadowing
