I've learned there are only 2 categories anything falls under in my minds eye. #1 Things I can control. #2 Things I can't control. As long as I am focused on category 2, I am thinking like a victim, feel like a victim, and often gets the results of one. If I am focused on category 1, I am devoting all my mental energy to the most relevant information, I feel empowered and often have more efficient results, as I am more goal oriented.
This teaching has greatly impacted me. Thank you Andy.
Have such great reverence for God that everything else pales in significance.

Release the past... Forgiveness is the answer.
I became a widow a year ago. So, I'm starting over, but aside from great ideas and advice, this doesn't really apply. I guess I worry about being so lonely I might take up with someone who is wrong for me.
How has your life been since you posted your comment?
I'm curious too.
Some people are crazy, there's no good reason to continue a relationship with them. The bible doesn't deal with reality.
