Ive just been to the hospital yesterday as i could not fully extend my arm after sustaining an injury. On the x ray you can clearly see that my anterior fat pad shows a sail sign. The doctor told me that he is pretty sure that i have a fracture. I would like to know what part of my elbow could have been damaged.
Hello mam one question here As we see plueral effusion white in lungs...means fluids appers white on X-ray ..n air appears as BLACK ........BUT here SAIL SIGN is appearing BLACK though it is due to fluid how this come..???????
The patient presents with a swollen elbow, which is mild in an undisplaced fracture to huge with ecchymotic and blistered skin in a widely displaced fracture..Refer www.pediatriconcall.com/articles/pediatric-orthopedics/elbow-region-fractures/elbow-region-fractures-introduction#1445
