Watching the animusic cds were were the best days in elementary school music class. I really think it's what really planted the love of both mechanics and music in me, given I've always loved tinkering with machines, and have been playing a variety of instruments my whole life I can't wait to see what yall make next!
I don't want to be begging, but I need to see Heavy Light in HD!! I love that track. This one is amazing too. Just can't wait to finish them all! Edit: I realize this is part of only the first 7 animusic tracks, but if you were to... just saying... Heavy light... you know... eventually... maybe... please.
Unfortunately they won't be remaking the entirety of animusic 2 since they already have a2's songs rendered in hd from their blu ray release. Kinda sad, but I understand that they wanna focus on original music animations than redo old ones.
This project has already taken nearly four years, and if we had known that it would've taken this long, we probably wouldn't have started the project in the first place. We really want to work on original animations (and are currently working on finishing one up right now), so we aren't planning on remaking any other animations other than the original seven from ANIMUSIC 1.
This is actually one of the easiest ones to remake due to the ATI 9500 XT Demo. Real-time rendered Pipe Dream to a WAV file. I have it on my computer and it is pretty fun to play around in.
For models sure, but the animation and lighting were all from scratch and were also painful. Although in comparison to other animations, Pipe Dream was easy once parabolic animation was implemented, since it's pretty much all parabolas and oscillations

Hang on, does that mean that now you've got the Pipe Dream rig all hooked up with MIDAS and everything, you can play any MIDI on it with very little extra effort?
Someone needs to make this a real thing in a room with actual hardwood flooring and PVC pipes. (Even if the balls don't reliably hit their targets, it would be awesome to walk around in.)
It's how it looks in Pipe Dream 2. This is basically the Pipe Dream 2 set, but without the extra grime or usage marks. The tubular bells mount structure also looks a little different.
Animusic in this high quality scratches an itch in a way I cannot explain.
I love the way the very, very last thing you hear is the same thing it opens with.
