- Pat Neely rose to national prominence with his then-wife Gina following the 2008 premiere of "Down Home with the Neelys" on Food Network. But he had been part of the Memphis food scene for years before that. He was just 23 when he opened Neely's Bar-B-Que, and the restaurant earned the distinction of being "Best BBQ in Memphis" in 1997.

I Thought they had a good marriage I love the cooking show I miss them so much
She ruined everything. On an episode of their show Down Home with the Neely's, you could tell the tense expressions between Gina and the other sisters in law and Pat's Mom. She wanted to live the high life in New York City and ran back to Memphis.
the food network show was too perfect. kinda annoying honestly. I wasn't surprised they got a divorce. Mrs Neely wanted a thug.. but she had a loving sweet man.. my observation was that he was still in love with her and she didn't feel the same
He shouldn’t have married her! She was so fake to the point that it was disgusting. In my mind I always felt like she was in it for the 💵 and the fame

Pat is the guy you want to see on top. He made lemonade out of the lemons, life served him and never said anything bad about his ex-wife!! Seems like a really good guy. I hope he gets back on national TV.

When they first met, they decided to go their separate ways. I think they saw something in each other that they could not see themselves with forever. That met again much later, as much more mature individuals, possibly at a lonely time in life when they were tired of the dating scene. It worked for awhile; but at some point, his mask came off. For years more, she stayed for the family and business...
People grow and change. Sometimes, it is not for the better.

I think you’re right because when pet first met her she ain’t that she went to in him and she will have a safe way he when he say when he made up later of the year and I don’t know what made them sad a good game get married
It sounds like he wasn’t present for his first family. 11:20 He said he would leave before they woke up and would return after they went to bed. Married and father to the restaurant. Yeah, Gina was supposed to leave.

@@rachelderenoncourt3881 yes and no. You hire people to run the day to day operations, i.e. managers. My brother owned a Subway, my sister was the manager at one point, he was hardly there. I worked at Cookies by Design, the owners owned 3 or 4 locations, I only saw them (well, the wife) a handful of times in the year I worked there. I wasn't a manager or supervisor but I was given a key and trusted to open and close at times. There was one Saturday when I did both and was in charge for the day. Then they hired a racist store manager who didn't trust me with cash or talking to the customers. She just wanted me chained to the decorator table. Never mind the fact that I was trained to do just about everything there.
So happy for him because he met someone that loves him that's first wife though it was all about her but i know she wish she had him back he a winner and he happy married im happy for him i wish him and his new wife and family the best
There was something missing in this video. His wife was a banker. While he was living his trade as a chief. He loved being in front of the 📸 While his wife prefer being behind the scenes. So they were totally different people.
Yet she is now trying to be in front of the camera. How strange.
As she should. She has a more entertaining personality. He tries and you can tell. It’s awkward and forced.
I always think my dad should have gotten remarried early on because he loved having a family. However, he said he never wanted to choose between his wife and children. My mom wasn’t happy but she was never happy with anyone or anything.

Pay deserve to have his own cooking show. I know he has a podcast and a website. He moved on and is now remarried and has a new family. Gina threw away a wonderful and great man. Now what is she doing?

Gina looked better when she was with Pat.
I think it has a lot to do with the fact that her ex-husband quickly fell in love with, married and had a child with a much younger woman. By the time it all went down, she was likely already used to hearing him ranting about everything he dislikes about her. Therefore, she lost a lot of weight and changed her looks a little. When they were much younger and decided not to be in a relationship, that should have been it. They were not meant for each other.
