Definatly the best call to make when you are behind is to relax and just go farm some experience and then go back into teamfights.
Usually these pokemon that dominate you early game will fall of a bit (except Zacian and Waterbear)
Just keep in mind that there are tons of catch up mechanics in the game and that one good teamfight can turn it into your favour

Yeah. Also if you fall back and the enemies are still taking all your farm, it means 2 things: you are not playing as a team and/or you need to work on your secures. Neither has an immediate fix, but if your solution is to grief & troll like this "FT・DeSKi" then you will never get better and the same thing will always happen to you.

@@paulrok1298 Players give up in every single online multiplayer competitive game ASAP. As soon as things look wrong, they are whining to surrender or quit.
I like that even though Pokemon Unite isn't a serious competitive game, it doesn't tell us the exact score of the game. That way, players can't just give up at the sight of the scoreboard.
I've strangely won many games where I thought for sure we were being clobbered. And have had some games be way closer, or even turn out a slight loss, when I thought for sure our team was stomping. Don't give up, keep looking for ways to find value. It seems to work.

But they can be more removed from the situation, can discuss some general concepts, point out some specific examples, and give some value.

    Two big takeaways:
    1) When behind, it's important to assess what's coming up and what's LEFT to come up (ie birds, buffs, objectives) so you can get strong and catch up
    2) This just shows how much Ray has become like Zap in that this team was WAY behind and all they had to do was secure Ray and they were invincible even as the enemy team came back up to fight them at home goal.

What I learnt from this video:
    1) If you are behind, farming is priority while objective is not up.
    2) Only try to fight an enemy if it's a 100% win for you, catchup experience is great but rarely worth throwing and inting.
    3) The game gives you a lot of catchup exp when 1st tier goals are broken, like the Indeedees and cloud birbs. Get as much experience as you can to catchup with the enemy (not at the expense of your non troll-teammates).
Thanks for the great advice Mr. Content Cowboy, YEE-HAW!

Even almost two years in, I can't tell you how many ranked players just do whatever they want instead of adapting to anything around them.

I know a lot of people don't care, but if you aren't mentally able to compose yourself or move on after being upset ESPECIALLY in a team game you'll never be good as you can be.

They really need to do something about those toxic players. You can report them, but they just loose 10 points. That doesn't do anything. In other games, if one of your teammates leaves, they give you the option of leaving without being penalized.

Imo the boss fight decides too many games, I've had loads of games where we are ahead & lose due to one bad fight & the opposite as well, a 10 min game shouldn't be decided by the last fight.
Reduce the timer on the respawn so you still have a chance to defend your lead.

1 step- be calm, the game was designed for revenge at the end.
2 step - our team need XP, farm wild Pokémon, trust me its a lot of XP.
3step - defend!! Their team is Over confident, make sure your team shows up at the goal-zones to fight where we have advantage
4 step- save unite for Rayquaza fight (self explanatory step)

  • @MysteryRue

They need to make it to where the team who does the most damage to Ray gets the buff because even a losing team can still end up doing more damage than the winning 1. You can be winning the entire game and then someone steals it and you lose. I do not agree that if you are the team focusing primarily on Ray that the other team should be able to get it if they can manage to steal the final attack.

Today I played as Blastoise in Rank and the enemy team was dominating us from the start and someone in my team keep spamming the surrender button when both our tier 1 goals broke making things annoying and we only have 2 goals left to defend then only 1 goal left.. Long story short Ray comes up we tried to steal AND WE DID... I rushed to get some scores in but I got K.Od and I noticed all of my teammates returned home and STAYED THERE (what a troll match that was). times up and we lost and I see there was only a 50 point difference which made me quit for the night... I tried to be positive even we were losing. I tried to provide CC for my team to take advantage even at the cost of me getting K.Od ... I was communicating, tried to get objectives. ....
My win rate went from 70% to 50% now and I keep going from Ultra 4 fo Vet 1 to Ultra again back to Vet again so on so on 😅😂

Macro is as in this video farm up and try to out level enemies and micro is make sure keep an eye on enemies mistake like in this video duraladon thought he could 1v5 and get killed but his team tried to save him but end up everyone in a bad position of diving in their face, so like that duraladon a small mistake can change the game
