This young man is not only a performer, he also gives value to education. After finishing his master's degree in the middle of the pandemic he is now on his way to pursue his doctorate in music. He said he wants himself to be highly educated. I hope that after more or less five years we will be calling him Dr. dimash or Dimash Qudaibergen, PhD. He is also a rising entrepreneur putting up different businesses. Slavic bazarre is in Belarus, the dictator who runs the country Putrids best friend lukashenko was one of the people backstage clapping. But the politics of the country can't deny this man's talent and Dimash did call off his Russian concerts when Russia invaded Ukraine. He speaks fluent Russian as Kazakhstan was once part of the USSR and they all seem to speak it🇬🇧
Normally if Dimash does a cover (which he hasn't done for a few years now) he goes for the throat and Dimashifies it. For some reason, whether it was out of respect for one of his favourite composers, Walter Afanasieff (who Dimash is currently working with in LA) who wrote the song or because it was a film festival, he kept fairly close to the original with My Heart Will Go On.
For most of the Dears though, it's not all about his crazy range, it's the emotion he brings to the song, the way he flows effortlessly across genres in multiple languages, the story telling and the way he connects with his audience and the way his Dears connect with each other across the world because of him.
It's a unique fandom in more ways than I have time to tell you. Let's just say Dimash leads by example and because of that music for us now has no linguistic and geographical boundaries.

You might enjoy Sinful Passion by Dimash. It is in Russian but has subtitles. His MV , The Story of One Sky is also outstanding. He wrote the Story of One Sky and it is about war and the need for peace. It is in English and he composed the music, and the story. He is one of the main actors and sang every note although you will think there are 8 people or so. You will need to filter most of Dimash videos. Stranger is in English.

Slavic Bazar is a singing competition in Vitebsk Belarus. Dimash won this competition in 2015. this SOS was in 2018 and he performed as a guest not as a participant. In 2021 Dimash was one of the judges. I wanted to recommend Stranger but yeah you already said it will be next. There you will see and hear way more of his vocal range. He is simply incredible.
Dimash is undoubtedly the world's greatest singer, not just for his crazy range but the purity and emotion he brings to his music. But I can also recommend Zhoe Shen. He doesn't have the range but his voice is just beautiful too. Ring the Doorbell, Baby are two of my faves but in fairness most of Shen's songs are my favourite ❤
