Arun you should not use 4x4 above speed of 40km (I was told by mahindra salesperson) for using 4x4 all the time he told me to buy Xuv700 AWD (again he said) because in AWD power can vary between front n back wheels depending on the raod condition n speed but in 4x4 (he said) power is always same on all 4 wheels which is not safe on speeds higher than 40km.

You r right. You can't make instant cut in 4×4 engaged. It would result into dis-balancing or may affect axles.

Yes you can use 4x4 even high in high speeds but it just puts a lot of stress on transmission axles and cornering in 4x4 might be issue because ball joints bearings are under a lot pressure and tires will wear off very quickly because he is driving on pavement highway but 4x4 won’t be a issue on wet highway because low traction is there already and hence no issues there but in essence you should not drive it above 90kmph if you love your car and it’s original parts which are hella expensive like drivetrain tires axles etc otherwise there’s nothing wrong in this video don’t worry either your sales man just wanted you to get xuv700 but Awd system are made for this purpose as in xuv the front wheels receive more power and the diffs transmission shafts are made for Awd purpose but it’s not 4x4 ,4x4 is different in actuality than Awd and honestly no one drives thar at very high speed considering if they care for their safety
I haveType 1 Fortuner 3.0 , it has full time 4wd , you can shift to 2wd by lever , but when you leave 4x4 lever in N it will be 4H by default. It’s average was 9 irrespective of how you drive neither more than 9 nor less than that

Apni Kia Seltos is best in average. Once achieved 25kmpl on KMP at speed 70-90kmph from Seltos Petrol HTK.
I have brezza diesel 27kmpl on 80-90
I have kiger petrol 29kmpl on 80-100
Can’t compare they all are of diff segments
Expressways are a place where fortuner can give a mileage of 17 kmpl💀

Don't use 4×4 on highway it can be a very dangerous I don't why people don't know the difference between awd and 4×4. Your tyres can explode on high speeds in 4×4 cars due to high pressure but not in case of awd cars 👍

@@debsankarsinha1704 that’s for warning only i have the e manual on my thar app if it was a thing than the Neutral gear would had been in between the 2H and 4H as i said and have asked the car mechanic that tunes vehicle he said the transmission is capable enough to withstand such pressure if given that car is driven below 90kmph above that is just a faster damage and risk of bodyroll due to understeer as he complained and tires as i said will wear off way faster at high speeds but that doesn’t mean that he can’t shift into 4x4 at high speeds it’s just given as a precaution to get more life out off drivetrain or bearings

The main reason for not engaging 4wd in high speed is because equal power goes to all wheel so when you take turn all wheel rotate at same speed which should not be there so it might understeer and topple
