Targeting the outposts first might work out in this scenario. If you can seize the two nearby outposts (and maybe set up some roadblocks near them), you can probably prevent any land QRF units from reaching the airbase once you take it. Para drops and gunships are still going to be a headache though. While the self-propelled AA you stole from the airbase could be useful, I wouldn't rely on it too heavily. The AI seems to have a deep-seated hatred of SPAAGs, so your fresh new vehicle will most likely be a prime target for enemy mortars and CAS if you choose to deploy it. Maybe a couple of static AA positions in the nearby settlement could help?

This is the first 3-way fight i've seen in this mod it looks so fun, also something I discovered recently while taking my first airbase, don't forget to garage the morters it allows you to use morter strikes
Ah I didn’t know that, I always left them for the AI to man once I garrison them.
I’ll have to do it next episode to get some strikes going.
It was fun, yet stressful at the same time haha

Didn't watch too much before last comment, but I have to add few things. 1. don't bomb flag markers, because that's where enemy loot boxes are. 2. cluster bombs expand so much, you need to put those entry and exit points at least 300m apart. It overshoots A LOT. Same with HE bombs. 3. buy mortar if you can, fire few rounds (mouse scroll to artillery computer when gunner) and garage it.
The cache was a fair ways away from the attack zone so I assumed it would be fine, it was but maybe just got lucky 🤣
Tbh I don’t use mortars, used them previously and always goes wrong for me 😅 I get CAS or some sort of extra response for it haha.
I will have to learn how to use the artillery section correctly and use it at some point for effectiveness haha
@@theurbanhermit365 Yeah they usually send air-to-ground stuff, that's why you need to fire only few rounds and gtfo from that area. Good way is to drive back to friendly place and garage it if it's mortar Hilux

I think your war level is high enough to buy armored vehicles from arms dealer, like APC's. I think those come to market at war level 6. But you need to start giving money to your faction, because those things can be expensive, like 10k€/piece
Yeah I did see these a while ago when fist finding the arms dealer, the price point alone put me off of buying them from him.
Plenty to steal from NATO and CSAT anyway 😉😆
@@theurbanhermit365 It's not too bad compared to troop training lol. It's better to have one APC with autocannon than few trucks with smol .50cal. Do tactic like enemy, APC full of friendly, disembark all but you (driver) and one npc (gunner), have rest attack from one side and drive around other side and your gunner should destroy enemy
