    I've got one that's been sitting on my shelf for about seven years and it's about to get transformed into something along the lines of what you built but a little more. Thanks for the idea bud and it looks really good nice and clean well taken care of

    I just did my electric motor on my 4.6 Savage. Castle motor. I'm just using my stock transmission for now. 6s battery max 8 ezrun esc. I'm like u just testing for now. I have 18pinion on mine. 52 spur gear. Mine run about 45. Or 50. I do alot hill climbing with mine pa. Hills. Also get u a eco power servo. There powerful.

    Ditch the aluminum lower arms for stock ones - after a few bumps/crashes, you will wonder why it doesnt drive str8!

    Dam, I forgot about the disk brake when doing this conversion. I bet there's a wierd way to keep it using a controller with a mixer so the throttle going in reverse triggers a 3rd channel that activates the old nitrol throttle servo for braking.

    Hi Kako, i would like to convert my savage 25 to electric. I would like to ask you a question. How do you go back? Do you have the kit
    HPI Reverse Gearbox Module? Or just the brushless motor is enough? Thank you very much!

    I think it would run much better on a 2650kv motor if you want to keep it on 3s

    Hello nitro here i have a question I have a savage also and I was thinking about doing that to going brushless but I was thinking about the weight of the savage itself then the motor tires because usually the savage electric savage considering the chassis are plastic

      the savage flux hp is the proper brushless savage not the e savage or the savage xs flux, if u have a look at the flux hp its pretty beefy with super thick aluminium chassis and a 3-4mm motor plate and super heavy duty diffs and driveline

    How did you get it to have reverse did you just put the flux idler gear in it part number HPI 100905 and a motor mount what kind of motor mount did you use and did you make it yourself or buy it thank you so much if you could respond that would be great

    • @kakorc3599
      @kakorc3599  7 років тому +1

      Garett Bodel you are correct. You essentially have to lock the idler and then you can run an electric motor. The motor mount is from Kershaw Designs but I would go with Alza Racing clamp mounts for more wiggle room for gearing.

    i am thinking of putting this system in my traxxas rustler. is it good, is it worth it? good performance????

    • @kakorc3599
      @kakorc3599  7 років тому

      Amistry20 XD I absolutely love this system. The sensored setup is really sweet. If you don't want to spend $ for a Tekin system but want the same performance, get this combo. They're all pretty similar when you get to the big names but I know Castle will stand by their product. Talk to some other guys having issues with Tekin and Hobbywing warranty. That's why I went Castle.

    How do you like the new Castle system?

    • @kakorc3599
      @kakorc3599  7 років тому

      Very strong. I love the smart sense system. I can crawl up a hill really slow or go crazy fast when I want. I wouldn't hesitate to get another system from them. I have since changed my spur and I'm running 4S. I broke my rear center drive shaft and there are no replacements for this weird size TVP. I have ordered a TCS Crawler XL 5mm TVP but had to also order the flux motor mount plate to be compatible. I new video is coming soon when I get it all together.
