I've heard of this game, but have never played it. Excellent review though dude. Fantastic editing as usual!
Thx , its a good but not perfect game but I like it anyway 😀👍
Excalabria lol. Cheap laughs aside, i never would have expected an RPG from a design team helmed by the King of the Super Scalers😎💥🏍✈🚗
I know its quite bizarre 😂👍
I really like that Japanese release cover a lot more then the western one! My brother had this one and I've never been into JRPGs but your review makes me want to give it a try.
Yeah the Japanese cover art is usually always better . Even though this is technically a Japanese RPG its very untraditional in nature so its an acquired taste but I like it 😀👍
👌
I JUST played this for the first time yesterday on Genesis Classics compilation for the Switch, and I was struggling with it. I will give it another chance though. I wounding up playing more Shining Force, but now that I see this video, I'll come back to it.
Yeah like I said its not for everyone , if you can survive long to upgrade and get spells the game becomes really addictive 👍
All I know about Swords of Vermillion is THAT CITY SONG IS A GOD DAMN KNEE SLAPPIN CERTIFIED CHIPTUNE B A N G E R
😂 👍 the music is great
Great enjoyable video as always. You make me want to play every game you upload 😁
Loved the massive map to explore, wonderful 👍
😂👍 that's awesome , just giving some interesting options that I like ✅
Loved this and Phantasy Star 2 for my Genesis as a kid. I liked that it was different. Nice review as always!
Yeah 👍 Phantasy Star II is one of my fav games ever 😀 pure class
Excellent game.
It reminded me of the "The Wizard and the Princess" for the old Vic20. That game was written in Basic and had 3D sections, outdoor first person exploration, side scrolling arcade fights, and top down exploration. Insanely immersive back in the day [EDIT: obviously it looks terrible today...but not to me with my nostalgia goggles on ;) ]
Nice , i know the name but never played it . I went straight from the Atari 2600 to the C64 and skipped the Vic
@@BastichB64K That was a nice upgrade for you! Yeh, the C64 was just a totally different ball game compared to poor old Vic20. Sprites and Sids ftw.
Great video thank bashb
Cheers 😀👍
