Gonna take _A Shot in the Dark~_ and say it wouldn't be unpopular to see Both Bismark and the Singularity Events fully voiced and animated.
    Keep it up Bro!
    Live. Laugh. Repeat.

I noticed a lot of attention to the U.S.S. Enterprise (CV-6), twenty battle stars for the Pacific War. At the attack of Pearl Harbor, the Imperial Japanese fleet did some damage, but the United States had three carriers in the Pacific. The Saratoga (CV-3) was at San Diego. The Yorktown (CV-5), Wasp (CV-7), Ranger (CV-4), and Hornet (CV-8) were in the Atlantic fleet (The Hornet was brand new and on its shakedown cruise). The Pacific task forces around the Enterprise and the Lexington (CV-2) were at sea.

You will notice aircraft carriers are fragile, not battleships. The Enterprise had an escort of three heavy cruisers and nine destroyers. The Lexington had an escort of three heavy cruisers and five destroyers. It is a question about attitude having wooden top decks, a few well placed bombs sink the carriers. The fleet carriers were never alone, they always had their friends, and coupled with first generation radar (see farther than anybody else) made a difference at the Battle of Midway (1942).

I'm sure the Japanese, super-battleship Yamato and the German super-battleship Bismarck would have liked to have friends, they were the most armored battleships of World War Two, until 1943 when the United States, Iowa-class, non-treaty super-battleships came into being. In the psychology of being the best, their fleet admirals left them without friends (Where are the escorts?), and in the pride that armor is better than a fleet. It is always good to have friends. In the comparison, the Enterprise was never without friends; as a fragile ship, she was in the largest navy action in history, making her a legend.

In addition to the conclusion, the Imperial Japanese fleet discovered that not everybody was at Pearl Harbor, because the U.S. carriers needed their friends, the cruisers and destroyers. This is why the Battle of Midway was so important, it was the proving grounds (or seas) for the U.S. carriers.
