Why can't people just stop telling others how to live! Do you think you care about her husband more than her?? Have you ever lived with a person who is ill?? Do you think a person should stop going out and stay home all the time?? Everyone needs to unwind and have a bit of me time, especially when someone is ill because it is a stressful time for the whole family. You can't stop living, and as a human being, we owe it to the person who is ill and ourselves to look after our mental health so we can be there for each other. Don't say something so nasty as this when you dont understand the situation, it is very hurtful and judgmental.
I’ve got stage 4 advanced cancer, have had it for 3 years now and nearly died 3 times. My husband and family look after me so much, but they also have lives to live and need to keep themselves positive for their mental health. I don’t expect them to spend 24 7 around me and Shagufta doesn’t need to either. Only the people going through it know how it is.
