Old Town in the Highlands! Nice. They have a great selection of wine, beer, and liquor. I still wish they carried Lotsa Pasta cheese...but pretty awesome to find it in a video for a song I effing love! Lol. Hometown love.
saw them last night in San Diego at the Lagunitas Brew Couchtippin concert and they were excellent. Love the homage to Pistol Pete 44 and the keyboard/singer has a unique voice that will propel them far in the business.
am i the only one who thinks that these people are freaking amazing? wish i still lived in southern indiana to come see you - or that my brother didnt leave louisville.
Bands like Houndmouth give me hope for the future of music. The corporate crap spewed out by the likes of American Idol pale beside the talent of these four musicians.
I LIKE IT! This bands got my attention, and 4 good reason, they are really good. I look. Forward 2 hearing more from them. What do u, the listening fan's have 2 say? I hope 2 see your response sometime soon? Until then, stay loyal, and keep the faith. Peace.

So glad I found these guys. What a breath of fresh air in today's mindless music. Alternative isn't dead afterall.
Brilliant! I’m 70 years old and this is one of the best bands I have ever heard!
Definitely in my top 10 favorites of all time. Great Jam
These guys were my favorite show at Forecastle Fest. Never even heard of them before last weekend.
Friend showed me these guys a while back...still listening.
Still a friend?
caught this band on sun studio sessions, blown away by every one of the songs they played. I'm in my fifties and they got me hooked into their music

Unexpected new favorite.
I love this band
Wow pretty awesome, I hear a little bit of The Band in em'. Nice tune.
awesome song. something old school about it.
would be great if we could get some guitar chords/riffs, i would love to jam to this song.
Great tune and video.
They sound like a 60's folk band on this one.
On the faster paced songs, you can hear a little 70's & 80's punk style in the music.
The next single should be titled, "Come Back Katie"
Fuck yeah...:/
Still sad
Good Americana. Love this
I saw them at ACL 2013, they were damn good.
sounds like the band. this is intimidatingly good.
this song should be a top 40 hit soon!
Heard on John Kennedy this morning.... Brilliant.
Best accident I've ever stumbled across!
Love it!
Bands like Houndmouth give me hope for the future of music. The corporate crap spewed out by the likes of American Idol pale beside the talent of these four musicians.
Totally...we need artists back on the music scene versus singers

this make love music
Damn I'm really beginning to like these guys1

This sound so f-ing good
The bassist looks like the Russell, the guitarist, from Almost Famous!
Songs like this make me miss addiction 😂... 😢
too good.
i like the harmonies in this version better, but the tempo is a bit slow compared to the re-recording on the new record. Either way, love it.
A full band interview just went up on my channel. We go through the vinyl discography. peep it!
They remind me of The Band
love Houndmouth :)
Sounds like they took some influence from The Band.
Great song guys. Cool vibe. I like the whole EP. Book 930 CLub in DC and come play the capital!

Ah, now I've got my fix - since The Jayhawks are kinda quiet... excellent band - album is sol-id
Lyrics?
11 years old
sounds like a mix between dawes & deer tick & felice brothers.
Houndmouth brought me here... :)
A Band we can understand. The other song Sedona sounds kind of like mamas and papas from the 60s
Gavin sent me
Love it but isn't that a James bond villain playing some awesome bass? Jaws ?
Lolwut
just heard them on Conan O' Brien, and i was like "WOWWWWOWOWOW. I have to have them on my iPod to jam out in my car. :))))"
G and C chord. Move Capo up and down neck till you find a comfortable key in which to sing.
Blues in e minor 1979
This is such a funny song!
see ya
I hid a batch in Frisco
I Couldn't score a job
So I did the next best thing and I learned how to rob
I took that train to Houston
But I couldn't get away
From the five and dime about the time
The constable would say
Come on down
To the Penitentiary
Oh momma the law came crashing down on me
Playing stud in the evening
And Solitaire at night
Leon has the cigarettes and Capone has got the light
Now I'm shifting squares with a man from Arkansas
He took my rook oh Lord and my king's about to fall
Come on down
To the Penitentiary
Oh momma the law came crashing down on me
And I'm calling from a pay phone
Down around Lawrence Bend
Got me a pardon son
Gonna do it all again
Come on down
To the Penitentiary
Oh momma the law came crashing down on me
Come on down
To the Penitentiary
Oh momma the law came crashing down on me
Fresco, not Frisco.
Drivin' and Crying?
You are legit
