The Big Road Trip: Getting there; Johnson City, Meridian, Dallas, Roswell

The Long Sweat, The Cracker Barrel Highway, The Road to Roswell, call it what you like; this is what I call the "getting there" portion of the big adventure I've been planning and yammering about for like a year now.

That white bird at the lake in Meridian was an egret, so you were right.
And if you ever get a horse and take it on one of those horse trails, you don't have to clean up after it.
Didn't know about night parking at Cracker Barrels, so I'm learning things.
